“My friend and I stayed here for one night following a spa morning and spot of retail therapy. The hotel is very pleasant, all the communal areas are clean, tidy and well lit. We were checked in by poppy who was absolutely superb, not only did she present us with a couple of warm chocolate chip cookies and some complimentary bottles of water, but she upgraded us for free and ensured we had a nice quiet room. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and really got our stay off to the best start? The room was large, spacious, spotlessly clean with both hairdryer and iron. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with toiletries. There was also a large tv with a good selection for channels. The only thing that wasn’t included which would have been nice was a fridge. We used the pool during our stay, which was a little small but again very clean and a nice temperature. There is also a hot tub and steam room which me made use of. Breakfast was very nice, all fresh, hot and lots to choose from. Overall I would happily stay here again, yes the location isn’t perfect but actually, it’s very quiet and the amenities and service at the hotel make up for location!”

“Spent 1 night here as we were attending a family get together nearby. Lots of free parking and a beefeater attached which always is a bonus for my other half as he loves a mixed grill ?Reception staff were really friendly. And were able to book us a table in the restaurant for that evening.The hotel has air con but clearly ours wasn't working. Didn't think anything of it as we thought we may have just not pressed the right button.However later it was clear that is wasn't working and I was boiling and struggling to sleep. My other half went down to reception, just gone midnight. Really helpful and brought a standing fan up to the room within minutes. Managed to get a semi-decent night sleep.It wouldn't put me off staying again. It would have been better if we could have opened the windows but generally if there is air con they don't have openable windows in my experience.Hotel was really quiet which was nice.Usb ports on each sides of the bed which were handy to charge phones overnight.Beefeater was really busy but the staff were really lovely.Despite the Air Con issue which was resolved really quickly we had a really good stay and would recommend.”

“Good value and modern comfortable rooms.Reception and housekeeping staff very friendly and always helpful. Our dog made so welcome , also given a complimentary dog present .Breakfast choice very good This hotel is one of the best express hotels out of the many we have stayed at”
