To begin with, I was quite pleased and met by lovely customer service and a chatty receptionist. But this doesn't make up for the rest of it! The car went in with suspected suspension issues and to do an MOT. I was quoted just over 1k to do all the work, which included both springs, both wishbones and new sets of pads and discs. The car only cost me £1.5k so after consideration and phoning around other garages I got quoted £800 for the same work. Considering the car not being worth much I went for the cheaper option.Now, this is where it gets bad! The other garage had a look at the car. Both pads and discs did not need doing, they weren't even an advisory on the MOT. Even more alarmingly, there were 2 shock absorbers that weren't even attached, something that is actually pretty dangerous. I'm absolutely gobsmacked that this wasn't found, especially seeing as they were taking an extra look at the suspension!Very glad I took my money elsewhere to be perfectly honest!

Fantastic service and friendly staff. My wife's car had a punctured front tyre and the team were able to fit us in at very short notice, tyre fitted very quickly and a very reasonable price.

Amazing service! Me and my friend popped in because we had check lights on in the car (no booking or anything). A lovely guy took the time out of his day to help us put in oil and coolant. Even walked us through how to do it ourselves. Wish we had got his name. But thank you if you see this

Never again following my first ever visit to this center.Rude, ignorantWent in as had tyre pressure warning on the dash.Wouldn't even check the tyre pressures to see if it was a faulty tpms or an actual puncture.Wasn't interested, claimed they were too busy but standing chatting when I arrived and we're still chatting when I walked out.Hope you didn't overdo it that day with your talking

En vacances avec mes 2 filles pour une semaine, à peine arrivé en Angleterre, mon voyant moteur s'est allumé. Après avoir été refusé dans le garage de la marque de ma voiture, ici on a m'a aidé pour que je sois en sécurité. 15 minutes plus tard le diagnostique était fait et j'ai pu me décider sur la manière de régler le problème. Matt and the guys here are absolutely incredible... I've been a few times with various issues with tyres etc. everything time I've turned up they've gotten me sorted and gone further than they needed to do. Amazing customer services. I really appreciate it.Thank you so much!

Good afternoonMy experience with halfords isn't a good one I'm absolutely appalled of the lack of communication and help we haven't received in resolving the issue I have..Both myself and my husband have constantly been on the phone to customer service and nothing is being done it's OK saying your issue has been escalated to urgent but its been two week even the manager of the Ashford store hasn't got anywhere with the online team, we brought a ortinator three months ago and two weeks ago our car broke down called the AA and it was the faulty ortinator we got from halfords that was the problem ..Was told to bring the faulty ortinator back to store to be tested and it was confirmed the ortinator was faulty..I'm left stranded with no car because halfords ain't doing enough to get me a replacement my anxiety is skye high as I live in a rural place I'm a mum with young kids and left with no car it's disgusting I can't see why the halfords now having the faulty ortinator back in store can't get me a replacement as soon as possible it's been two weeks and still nothing it's causing alot of uncessarry stress I've even emailed customer service and still nothing it's appalling..My issue needs to be resolved ASAP.

My car was due for an MOT which it failed; they managed to book me in for the following day as I heavily rely on my car and even though their garage got flooded by the storm over night; they kindly repaired it and fixed the issue which was a lifesaver for me. The manager and the team are great and amazing at what they do.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I read the reviews and was very worried about going here, but it was too late, I had already booked.I walked in on the day, was met with a warm "hello", dumped my keys and went.I got a call that afternoon to say the car was ready to collect but I said I couldn't collect it until later. They said "as long as you're here by 5pm, you'll be fine".Walked back in at 4:30pm, got another warm welcome, was given my keys and paperwork and was on my way.Unlike other reviews, no rude staff and no unauthorized work, which they had an opportunity to do due as I sent the car in with 2 tyres near the legal limit.
