The service at the Newport branch is brilliant. We were given advice, helped and treated as if we were the only customers in the store. It was very busy. We cannot praise this store enough. Well done Curries and thank you.

Delivery of a fridge, told between 8.40 and 12. 40. Still not arrived.Contact customer services and they can't track the driver. Total joke, stuck in all day waiting for a fridge ?!!!!!

Currys is a business that's definitely been putting a lot of effort into doing things better. The range of brands and products is excellent and the pricing is always very competitive. The website and in particular, the click and collect process has definitely been made better too. The in store staff are also far better then they used to be and clearly have much better product knowledge training but, and the reason for four stars not five is that there are still a few members of store staff who still need to understand that being friendly, helpful and welcoming is just as important as what you know.

I got a shark hoover hand held , price on item £62.99 ,when I got to till got charge £79.99 But manager said he not selling it for that price averted. Not a happy customer at all as not my fault there can't do the right pricing on shelfs.

Overall service, staff, communication, delivery etc all good as used them for 16 years, so would score a 5.However, We own a small seasonal B & B and it is a Mixed Hereditament i.e. Domestic living and Business part. Obviously some parts are shared i.e. Kitchen, as we have a domestic supply of gas & electric in them but pay Business tariff.So when Fitters came to install my new £1100 cooker, they refused and went on to say we are a Business. I explained that we are only open say 6/7 months a year for Breakfasts only and all the other cooking i.e. 75% is for our own use. However they wouldn't have it, as he says its Curry's policy and just left with no cooker installed. They did however take the old cooker to be recycled! So for 2 weeks whilst arguing this point with Customer Services, no cooked food for my family and 90 Year old mother! So if it is there Policy, why then do Sales Staff sell you the items and not check address & explain this! Money!It clearly shows my address on any database/delivery details as Swiss Cottage Hotel, I paid on a Business card that says Swiss Cottage Hotel, so why did they still sell it to me.FYI I have spent approx. near on £10,000 on equipment from them and never a word said before.So be wary as ANY item that you buy from them, as it is not covered in any Warranty etc by them. So Lamps, Computers, TVs, Washing Machines, Kitchen Equipment etc.However different Depts. in Curry's are none the wiser on Policy's, as I had a problem with my Washing Machine and it was fixed 3 times by them/the Company without a word!Basically the fitter kept going on about they cant fit it but where does it say that you cant?Even the Customer Complaints Team couldn't actually show me where it says it in T & Cs.I did get my Installation Fee back but that wasn't the issue.I had to wait then and find a Gas Safe Engineer to fit my connection of a simple bayonet fitting up!Even when he came he said that Curry's are talking rubbish as my supply to the property is domestic.I should not be penalised if part is Commercial! So be warned!The Customer Services informed me to set up a Business Account to stop any further problems in the future, which I did. Only to find out that if I ordered the same cooker on their site, all the way up to Payment section, it still lets me buy it!So Mr Manager can you train your staff to ensure they do not miss sell Domestic items to Businesses or at least warn them that in fact their warranty etc is invalid and wont be covered by them!
