Superb gentleman served me and helped me with every question I had.. In an age where one does not expect a personal, take your time approach to a purchase, it was a most welcome experience to have a knowledgeable bike engineer walk me through my requirements. I'd make this my 1st port of call because of it!

I have used this store before and been very happy with the service. Today was the opposite. Went to buy some parts to repair two kids bikes. The young man in the cycle section could not have been less interested. Offhand and rude. I left and went to the Watford Cycle Hub at Chaffinch Lane. Extremely helpful I was given sound advice on how to do the work and a choice of new and recycled spare parts.They also do cycle training for kids and adults.

Web site very difficult to use ended up buying front and rear dash cams but was only able to book the fitting of front. Consequently time allocated for fitting was too short. However Victoria did a superb job and next customer didn?t have to wait very long

I went to Watford branch with my son after his cycle was punctred. At the counter, Carl has asked me whether I had booked any appointment but my reply was 'no'. Carl then explained how the assessmet process work and offered me to check the punctred tyre. Also advised me to go with adding gel for both wheels. We were also wondering at the helmets section. Carl offered further about 10% as part of the service. I end up spending £58.50 but I was pleased with Carl's mannerism and service. Furthermore, the job was completed within few minutes. Carl has good upselling skills which is good for Halfords.I have been to this branch many times as it is my local one but today was the day that I have walked away with fully satisfaction.Carl, you must be a role model to your follow colleagues!Thank you

Went to have a health check on my car before a 4.6 hour car journey. Supposed to be 10 checks apparently but the man completed about 3? I drove all the way to this Halfords and booked the appt online for a half hearted check that lasted about 4 minutes. I did have my car serviced around 6 months ago but they tell you to check everything before a long journey. Would rather a professional checked it over than by myself. But wasn't very helpful. Will go somewhere else next time.

Paid - said was available in an hour. Now have to wait until Monday. Poor service overall for the click and collect as stock levels not right!
