I ordered a mattress that on website showed quick delivery but when i contacted them they said it's gonna take a while till they can confirm the delivery,so i cancelled the order and they said i will have the refund in 3,5 working days as it should be,but it's been a week and i have no answer.

I had an amazing experience with Matrresman: it is rare this day to find a salesperson, who actually listens to you and your needs. I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted and I walked out with a great matrress which fitted both my needs and my budjet. 10 out of 10 service!

We brought a 5ft mattress in November on s 90 day trial, but my husband has had more back problems so we went back and we have selected another one which is more softer than we fist got customer service from Stephen and now Mark is above and beyond Thank you guys. Will recommend you to family and friends in the future.

I hope Gary in Stevenage gets rewarded sufficiently by this company - he couldn't have been more helpful, deeply knowledgeable, and professional when I came into store today. Specifically, he listened faultlessly, helping me establish what I was truly after (first time buying a mattress), and his experience was evident. He was able to recommend and compare mattresses, having helpfully shortlisted a few based on my needs, and could tell me about the long term life of the mattresses too. He knew how they were manufactured, advised clearly on the 60-night trial, and even offered tips on assembling my bed frame when I got round to buying it! He was able to manage multiple people in the shop at once with great professionalism, and didn't make me feel silly, despite having several questions and uncertainties. Mattress-buying is very personal, and I appreciated Gary's kindness, and suggestions to allow time to let the body adjust when trying them out. It's rare to get such dedicated customer service these days, and I've been to several shops now. None have compared (including JL). I also had a good experience calling customer services before visiting the store (to check if they had one I'd found online in stock), and they were very helpful. Impressed by the quick delivery times too. Of course proof will be in the pudding, but whilst 'Mattressman' may not look like much from the outside, I am going to be confidently buying from them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Avoid!!! Purchased a mattress online on the basis that if we didn't like it, we'd be able to get it replaced or get a refund.The mattress arrived on time and in great condition. Unfortunately we didn't like it as we didn't find it comfortable (that will teach us for buying online).Within 48 hours I've asked for a refund and that has got refused, even though it's within 14 days and I've used the mattress protector.They insist that I must get an exchange so I've offered to drive 2 hours to the Stevenage branch to check out alternatives.Now they've just dropped on me that I can't exchange until after 30 days!!What use is an uncomfortable mattress for 30 days?If you can't refund mattresses with a protector within 14 days due to hygiene reasons, why make us keep it for 30 before returning and then selling on?Lesson learned about buying stuff like this online and this certainly goes against consumer law.

I spent hours comparing mattresses and reading reviews and in the end I've listened to the man who sells mattresses, Excellent customer service Steve you made the process so much easier for me, now can't wait to try new bed when it's delivered.

Absolutely shambolic, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I ordered a bed frame that came faulty, I provided proof of this or else despite my refund I was told that I would have to pay £45 for return delivery. I paid via clearpay and expected the order to be cancelled, then a reminder that a payment coming out was sent to me, I called mattressman who said that they would call me back and get the clearpay cancelled and give me a refund of the first installment that had already been paid, basically, despite talking to three of their staff on three separate occasions those calls did not come, in fact I got charged the second amount and now they say that the note to call me back was put on someone elses file, they will not cancel the clearpay plan until the item has returned to their warehouse, this is despite the whole debacle being their fault, the item being faulty, the notes being put on the wrong file, and them picking up the bed frame one-week ago. I can honestly say to you, please reconsider buying from this company, even on moral grounds.

I ordered a king size bed frame online a month ago and it was delivered within a couple of weeks- great email and verbal communication from the company as it was a popular design. Delivered on the specified day and time frame by a lovely gentleman. Bed looked amazing and easy to put together. I took it apart as I was decorating my bedroom... aaaaaand misplaced my all the screws ? a quick email to Mattressman and a phone call from Liam the following day to say that a new pack of fixings would be delivered within the week ? I cannot fault any part of my bed frame journey and Liam was the epitome of customer care- courteous, polite, friendly and efficient ?????

Do not bother with this company. Ordered a mattress for next day delivery, 1 week later still don't have the mattress and apparently they do not know where the mattress is and they made it out like that was my problem. Rubbish customer service on the phones, they physically do not have the stock so basically false advertising. Also I wanted to cancel the order many times and that was also made very hard to do. Would not take a free mattress from these guys. RUBBISH COMPANY!!!

I have to say it?s best to go with one?s instinct. I just felt this company was wrong from the point of entering the store. The manager seemed friendly and nice, but all that changed when it came to the delivery of the mattress. Speaking to him on the phone about a delivery issue which turned out not to be an issue, was the worst experience you would expect to have with a company you could be tied to, given the 60 sleep nights they offer.Lesson learnt just go with your instinct. I can only imagine the experience awaiting us if we decided within the 60 days that the mattress wasn?t good for us.Anyway, NEVER AGAIN!
