“Has the cheapest bread in Stevenage and seems to have the lowest price diesel on the 5th July 2023. Though Diesel has gone up in price, Petrol has gone up even more! This garage was cheaper than the Asda Supermarket at the time. Petrol is the same almost the same price across the supermarkets, which is collusion in my mind. Petrol and diesel has NEVER been the same price, but it is now, except here at the time of taking this picture.”

“Competitive prices for petrol. Selfserve pumps and kiosk service with staff willing to help disabled drivers. Need to avoid lunchtime and late afternoon in order to avoid queuing. Traffic lights control exit onto the main road after leaving the petrol station.”

“This place is really bloody expensive, more expensive than even most of the petrol stations I went on to pass going up the A1 for the next 150 miles.I gave you 5* because I don't pay for my fuel, and the company therefore got stung paying through the nose for my diesel. If I had to pay for it myself you would have got 1*, except you wouldn't have because I would rather have let the car run out and walk home than give you my money. As it wasn't my money I didn't care.”

“Considering the daft and unnecessary panic buying that's going on, this was dealt with really well. No fuss, a lovely member of staff organising the traffic and no long wait.”

“At the Shell Garage where flames alight,Petrol pumps spark and ignite,Flickers of fire, orange and bright,Dangerous and thrilling, an eerie sight.Cars pull in, drivers unaware,Of the fiery dance that awaits them there,Fuel tanks filling, bills to pay,Innocent of the danger lurking today. Then, in a flash, the sparks ignite,A sudden burst of heat and light,Screams and shouts, chaos and fright,As flames consume the petrol in sight. But in the midst of the fiery storm,The Shell staff are brave and warm,Heroes fighting to keep us all safe,Putting out the flames with skill and grace. And when the smoke clears, and the danger's gone,The Shell Garage stands, sturdy and strong,A testament to the bravery shown,And a warning to be careful, from dusk to dawn.”

“Able to buy some of my shopping there is a cafe if you want to buy something to eat and drink. There is also a decathlon shop inside asda itself, not a bad shop.”
