Turned up to the store 5mins before closing to drop off some donations after work to find the door locked. There were some shoppers and staff inside. I called the store number to say I was outside at the door and whether I could drop some donations off, to be told NO ? I mentioned there were shoppers inside and still said no. Wouldn?t even let me leave them at the door given that technically the store should still have been open to accept donations. A wasted journey and shame since I had some decent stuff to donate that would have helped raise money for cancer research. I?ll donate to another charity now instead. Good charity let down by a member of staff!

Reasonable charity shop. Seems to be a bit of a bric-a-brac layout. Some good deals on books

Very large store with a huge selection of items at very reasonable prices. For a busy store it was kept tidy and fairly well organised. Staff member on the till was pleasant, welcoming and processed the items we purchased though the till quickly. Definitely worth popping in if you are looking for a bargain.

Wonderful store with really good prices. It's a great place to get clothes, books and toys, as well as new items that they keep near the front of the store! I would reccomend it to anyone. My boyfriend needed some smart clothes for an interview, and we came straight here to find something in a rush. The staff was lovely, the changing rooms were perfect, and he had everything he needed by the end of our visit. Truly a wonderful place doing a wonderful thing.

It's nice that a large charity shop allows for multiple donations, however upon arriving at the charity shop we were met with quite rude volunteers who made us feel like a burden for donating items. Will stick to donating to our local charity shop from now on

I dropped off a shed load of items as we are downsizing and on arrival Iasked for help getting the stuff in but was told we don't help, you bring it in and you can if you need it get a trolley from B&M to bring inbthe donations.Okay thats fine but I was greeted at the donations area with blank stares when I asked "where do you want this?" I ended up saying, I'll leave it here, I made a total of 4 trips inside to drop everything off. On my 4th entry there was an old couple in front of me with a B&M trolley taking stuff to the donations area, the lady popped one item up onto the counter and said "do you want it here?" The young man looked at her and she said "sorry I'm deaf" - he turned her donation over and smirked and didn't respond to the lady apart from a nod - very rude sbd disrespectful.I should have gone to another charity shop to drop off my donations - this is the last time I donate anything to a charity - I would rather give it away or recycle it. Lesson learnt here

Good array of clothes, handbags, furniture, clean and bright store, plenty of free parking, a few disabled bays near store worth supporting this worthwhile cause.

Never again will I donate to this Stevenage cancer research shop, the lady collecting the donations was rude and most unhelpful and not grateful for the donations at all! I have recently lost my dad and are clearing his house and was already upset.. left the shop in tears she was so rude!!!
