Been to this branch only a few times but never felt comfortable whilst there.Apart from a few members of staff who were fine. I found the rest of them very unhelpful.Johanna molloy

A beautiful Roman city.

As with previous reviews, I am sick of the attitude in this bank. I've complained several times over recent years but it continues. Firstly, the female staff remind me of the schoolyard - catty, rude, patronising. Nowhere else have I experienced those teenage 'glaring up and down' looks - other than secondary school. The one member of staff who isn't in the teenage gang is the grumpiest woman who ever walked the face of this earth. She wonders around barking at customers that "You could do that online!"Younger customers aren't stupid - we don't trek to the bank unless it's absolutely necessary so we don't need to be told "You can do that online". And those older customers who don't use the Internet maybe just came in to see a friendly face, not to be pressured by rude staff! We've repeatedly witnessed their extremely unhelpful attitude towards disabled customers too.Nat West call centre is fantastic and that's why I stick with the bank: unlike most call centres, they treat you as an individual, they listen and help. St Albans branch staff could do with some training from the call centre staff! But, again, this has gone on for at least 5 years &, despite complaining a few times, despite false promises, it hasn't changed.

Dear Amanda and the staff at NatWest St Albans,Sasha and I were very touched by the gifts of crayons and chocolates you sent to us, along with the sweet note. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful transition into the UK, and being such a welcoming bank provider. This has been a small gesture but indeed, memorable. We?re happy to be joining you.The warmest of greetings,Kateryna.

Got condescending and borderline rude treatment from 2 different members of staff when my wife tried to access her money and do a large bank transfer. Apparently the only way of accessing your own money at NatWest is through biometric authentication. If you don't trust Face ID and don't like rude people better find another bank...

I actually do most of my banking online (I actually do most of everything on line including my job). However, when natwest help online tells you that you have to go to the bank to do something and an unhelpful staff tells you they are very sorry you took time from your busy schedule to come to the bank but that they cannot help you because you have to do it online, they have crossed the line! They are pretty much a full on digital bank but not a very good one so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Always found the staff to be OK here... I think a lot of people are not ready to be pushed to online - especially if you've just walked into your own bricks & mortar bank!

SOO slow!!! I often spend the entire of my well earned lunch break queuing up just to pop some money in, it seems all the staff run off when they see a queue forming and two poor souls are left to deal with the fallout, surely put more cashiers on at the busier times....

Probably the slowest Natwest I've ever been into. It's not like they don't have enough counters, about 8 if I remember correctly, but even with each one open just to deposit some money took approximately 30 minutes. Service therefore was terrible and unfortunately it's been like this a few times. Clean inside though and they've toys to entertain the kids.
