Closed no information no sign we waited for at least ten minutes and peered through the window on our tiptoes. When I eventually caught the shop girls eye, she mouthed at me " we are closed about an hour" multiple people waiting outside who had walked there in the freezing cold. According to one of them it had already been shut for at least half an hour. If the delivery takes an hour and a half to pack away, perhaps it would be a better idea to not have the delivery when the shop is supposed to be open or if something unforseen happens at least have the decency to put a sign up!

Tried post office yesterday, it was shut whilst the trained person is on break. Tried today at a different time, thinking I will avoid the disappointment, just to be told the post office is closed because the trained person is taking a delivery. The place was just shut for about a month, which to me would seem like a perfect chance to train everyone. Third time lucky?

So unfriendly staff - it?s disappointing the way they treat you.. there are outsiders who may have genuine queries towards Royal Mail services - should have basic courtesy to be patient than treating them poorly..

Unfortunately staff there (young lady and middle aged lady) have small brains they don?t use their common sense which makes it more difficult and complicated for customers.Best avoided unless you enjoy being stressed as result of rubbish customer service

We use McColls, daily for papers and mainly fruit, they do a deal where you can mix and match two kinds of fruit at three pounds for two normally a nice deal for the customers. It's only a two min walk from home and has a good range of products, the manager and girl's are all from Royston, with the post office in the store it can get quite busy, but the staff cope well, a nice local store.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, there's a post-office counter in store. Queuing can be a bit awkward due to lack of space and the way the shop is laid out.

Great little shop, were very helpful with my postal delivery and paper changes. Manager was a nice bloke, helped me out with a food product query. Very grateful for these front line workers during these difficult times. Thanks again! ??

Very poor Service, James the manager did not want to help my parents in the lock down, and said he would cancel the papers being delivered to them, yet they could not get out to pay the bill. He wanted them to risk there health . i even offered to pay the bill, yet they couldn't take a payment over the phone. 30 years a customer to this shop and look how they treat you....

Unreliable newspaper delivery. Just pass the buck and refuse to refund incomplete deliveries. Avoid.

If you need to send a parcel try to AVOID this place, they don't know how to do it and the information given was misleading.

Don't order a paper delivery from this shop. Very unreliable. When you try to call to find out what's going on nobody answers the phone. HOPELESS!
