I have just visited this store with the intention to purchase a large amount of timber for my garden .. when speaking to the younger gentleman on the counter for assistance and advice on some products he attitude was terrible enthusiasm was not present at all he it was like he didn?t have a brain inside his head and he didn?t put his body on charge last night after speaking with him for 1 minuet I decided that I was not willing to spend my money in This store he made me feel really uncomfortable when asking questions and will not ever visit this store again management needs to address his customer service efforts as the are none existent.

Prices are fair for the current climate always have what we need when we go in. Staff are knowledgeable and listen well. Received a selco hat last time I was there. Was chuffed.

Good place to get bits and pieces. Use selco all the time. Some bits are not great quality, but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend

Very helpful staff. I needed a pallet lifted down which was done quickly with no fuss. Checkout operator was very patient when trying to get a voucher code to work, it took ages but they kept going

This is a very good place but unfortunately you have to go round and find the stuff you want,other builders merchants you place your order at the counter and go to the yard and they get it etc

Great store with great products and service from the knowledgeable staff.To top it off it has a great café upstairs to your right as you enter the store. If you left hone without eating, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat! ??

After being loaded told I can't turn round in yard so had to back out . Sign said no reversing with out assistance. If that was true I would still be their now

Today was the fourth time I have used the click and collect from here, each time was the same poor quality service. Told to collect between 2 and 2.30pm, arrived 2.30pm order not ready surprise!! surprise!!., The Girl on the counter, not bothered at all that my order was not ready, said they will have to go and pick the order, and the colleague, she had passed the order to would go and get it. But the said colleague just carried on chatting and generally having a laugh, with the other two colleagues that were busy doing nothing. The girl then say how angry I must of looked, and went and had a word. The chap then walked pass me and went out of the store, and after a few minutes came back in the store with a trolley, he had obviously stopped for a chat with the other two chaps who had also gone out of the store the same time, seven minutes later the order arrived. No one being served on the counters, store empty!! surprise!!,Part of the order I had to collect form new forest Fencing, they could not of been more efficient and cheerful and happy to help me . Why do I have an account with Selco!!

The 5 stars go to the delivery driver, Barry. He is nothing short of a legend. The service he gave me as a customer was 11/10. The man is a true credit to Selco Southampton. We've all had grumpy delivery drivers who cut corners. Not Barry. He was happy as Larry. Give the man a payrise. God bless

Brilliant store. Friendly helpful staff who quickly took my order for a fire door and offered to deliver it instead of trying to get it into the back of my car. It was delivered at 8am
