I had a windscreen chip booked via internet and paid.I had previously visited to see if the chip could be repaired. Lewis said he could do it. It was a bit different as strangely there seemed to be no damage to the glass but the inner material looked damage.I attended early and Lewis got on with it early. Drilling and filling! When I came to collect Lewis said he wasn?t 100% satisfied with the job because of the strange nature of the dent. He had drilled and filled. So he decided to give me my money back which he did.So well done I appreciate your honesty and if you want a windscreen fixed Lewis has done thousands and knows what he is talking about. Thanks Bill

Halfords has always been a great place to go to for car maintenance and outdoor activities, you know you are in safe hands and at a good price. The online website is easy to use, getting all the information you need. Then there is the instore staff on hand to guide you through your requirements.

Visited Halfords today to meet a very uninterested tall lad, Darragh on the main till. With his hand in his pocket, total attitude, he really couldnt be ar***d, no manners just a total lack of interest in customer service, I had to ask him how much the total was because he didn't speak. Its a real shame the ladies filling shelves were both really helpful. Just a friendly tip put the ladies on the front help desk they smile there helpful and seem genuinely interested.

Watch out and avoid DODGY-DEC the bike guy upstairs! I took my bike there because it was squeaking when I was peddling and I also wanted to put it on a care plan. You can imagine my surprise when after screening it, Dec called me and told me there were some major issues that in total would cost £400 to fix!I laughed at him on the phone because the bike was only a year old and cost £750, so why would it need £400 to fix it. When I told him I would take my bike elsewhere, he changed his tune and said he wanted his "technician" to have a look at it. The next day, dodgy-dec called me and said after having someone else look at it, the issues would cost £150 (so more than half what he initially tried quoting me).I went in and was happy to pay for what he said the bike needed as I was worried about the squeaking sound and as he made the issues sound quite significant, I assumed these were urgent and it was not safe to ride my bike. You can imagine the surprise I had when dodgy-dec told me that I should wait a couple months until he has a technician and then we can order the parts in, meaning the "urgent" repairs he was talking about were not that essential. And to make things worse when I asked if I should take it to another Halfords, he said it was better to wait a few months.This whole time I assumed all these issues he had found had to be fixed to stop the squeaking which I had initially gone in for, but turns out that all my bike needed was £6 lube and the squeaking stopped! I've been riding bike for a few months with no issues and recently got my bike on a care plan without paying anywhere near what dodgy-dec was saying. Most of the major issues that dec had said I needed to fix were actually quite easy to fix.Appreciate he may not be a technician, but if he doesn't know much about bike repairs, maybe he should not be doing the screenings and giving people misleading advice!

Plentiful stock, if you don't mind blunt staff and things blocking the disabled lift to the top floor.Should you require the use of the lift be aware that you may have to move stock to access this lift as well as travel in darkness as the light only works when going up!When approaching the checkouts there was limited access for a wheelchair due to narrow aisles and haphazard stock placement. Further to this the 3 members of staff stood at the till seemed to ignore myself and my disabled partner despite making eye contact several times.2/5 well stocked but disrespectful staff

Popped in to get a headlamp replaced; short 5 minute wait and the lamp was replaced within a couple of minutes by a great lad called AK. Really impressed with the service?. thanks AK!

Not too helpful today lady didnt have a clue wat i wanted but cashiers friendly and very helpful still get most of my parts there although a little dear but used my motoring club discount will upgrade to premium i think
