First ever visit by my wife and I. We had a very warm welcome from the staff. Also the staff were careful to check the menu choice as my wife has a nut allergy. We were very well looked after by Kelly and Tracy. We had a spritz, 2 main meals (fish pie and chicken schnitzel), garlic cheesy bread, a sticky toffee pud and coffee and all were excellent. Lovely place. Waited a long time for our food (which we have had to do the last few times we've been). But it was very busy! I think they may have been short staffed. One of the ladies who served us was really lovely, I didn't get her name but she had a Welsh accent, and was so warm and friendly.Food was really nice. Great menu.

Dogs welcome outside and downstairs. Some sheltered tables outside.Food good, it has improved greatly from a few years ago. Decent election of beers too.Order food at the bar and pay up front. A bit of a wait, but it was busy.Quiet at 12:00, heaving at 1pm.Wheelchair accessibility: There is also a lift to take wheelchairs or people with walkers to the first floor.

Normally we love this place but on this occasion there was only one waitress, who was run off her feet. Shown to a table, then waited 20mins before a drinks order was taken, then another 15mins before it arrived. No food order taken in that time, so we left. Complained on the way out to be told 'we are short staffed'. Poor show.
