I was fortunate enough to have a makeup lesson with Melinda recently.She provided plenty of information beforehand, listened to my reasons for booking the session and drew out my expectations of what I ultimately wanted to achieve.We went right through from cleansing to a final smack of lipstick, logging every step, colours/products and techniques.Even though I've worn makeup for many decades, much of my routine was just muscle memory and, although I wasn't totally off the mark, it was great to be shown the best ways to approach it, especially as I'm aging and my features/complexion change.We used a mixture of my products and hers but there was no obligation to buy, just good sound advice.I came away with a 4in1 cleanser, from which my skin is already benefitting, and some eye lash curlers, which are amazing!It's given me the confidence to experiment with what I've learned and I'm enjoying being able to make the best of my features.I really enjoyed the session, it was both fun and informative and Melinda was very knowledgeable and lovely to work with.I'd definitely work with Melinda again in the future and highly recommend her to others.(I've added a before & after)

Melinda did my hair and make up for my wedding. Having a hair and make up trial before my big day was great. She is so professional and really listened to what I wanted. She exceeded my expectations and was over the moon with how I looked and felt. She made me feel amazing. I had so many compliments. I highly recommend Melinda. She?s absolutely amazing at what she does and she?s the most loveliest person too.

Melinda did my wedding hair and make up back in October and I was so happy with it. I changed my mind about both my hair and make up a couple of times and she was very patient with me, even offering a discounted second trial. Her prices are also very reasonable considering what some people try and charge for weddings. I would definitely recommend her!On a side note, she also taught me that you should brush your hair from the bottom up which has helped massively with my long, knotty hair! What a great treat for my 12 year old and her friends! Melinda kept them entertained for over 2 hours walking through good skin care routines and then showing and helping them apply make up, which was completely suitable for their age group! Melinda came to our house, supplied all the kit, including mirrors for each of them to use. Really great idea for tweens who have grown out of traditional parties but still want to be entertained. Good value for money as well. Thanks Melinda.

Melinda was amazing. Excellent communication prior to the event with tips as to how to prepare hair for the best results. Amazing makeup. Adaptable and dynamic approach throughout both makeup and hair up. 100% would recommend.

I can?t recommend Melinda enough! We had an event In Southampton and after finding her details on Google I contacted her. Not being from the area you always worry that your vision doesn?t work. Melinda communicated weeks/days in advance, making sure we knew what we wanted and asking about jewellery and dresses. Melinda hair prep advice was second to non and you could really tell she?s got a true passion. Very professional and committed to her work and such a wonderful woman. I?d definitely recommend to anyone travelling or in the area for event for hair and makeup. X

Melinda hosted my daughter's 13th birthday party this weekend, which went down a storm! She guided the girls through everything from cleansing to applying age-appropriate make up, demonstrating on them before they completed each step themselves. Melinda was great from start to finish had booked a make up lesson which she went through step by step. I had taken my own make up which we went through and Melinda made suggestions if things suited me and which brushes were best to use also tried Melinda?s products everything we used was written down along with a picture showing where each product was used.
