I deposited £320 last Saturday to the ATM outside as the branch was closed. It took my money but the money never went into my account as I checked my online banking and I never received any type of receipt. I immediately called Santander general customer service and they said not to worry my branch would get in contact with me in the next working day to resolve it. It's now Tuesday and I haven't heard anything back so I called them, no answer... I called general helpline and they said I would be best off calling in in person to sort this out. Absolute joke

Second time tried to use this branch for service and both times found the staff to be badly trained in the services that branches should be providing following be sent there by telephone banking. Friendly staff but useless. Spoke to telephone banking again who reassured me that the branch SHOULD be doing it. Called Grant the branch manager for Fleet who was kind enough to hear my complaint and appreciated my feedback. Better management and training of the staff is required at this branch. Interesting that he also informed me that they do not reply to any online feedback......make of that as you will.
