We came across this pub by chance and we weren?t disappointed! Super friendly welcoming staff and the food was the best pub food we?ve had for a very long time! We will definitely be back for another lasagne and curry they were simply delicious! Thank you

Had an amazing Christmas dinner yesterday, everything was fantastic. Crispy roasties, perfect veg, tasty turkey and gravy with all the Xmas extras, generous portion served piping hot. Absolutely the nicest dinner I've had for ages and retained it's heat so I could enjoy it instead of just wolfing it down before it got cold . The room was nice and toasty and I imagine at night time it is very cosy and Christmassy. And Charmaine is just the nicest person and landlady, she is always so warm and welcoming. She makes that extra effort to make our visits special and we always appreciate her kindness. If you haven't been before I would recommend trying it, lots of home-made dishes on the menu and reasonable prices too. Good sized hot drinks too which is much needed on a cold day! Has always been a favourite of ours and will continue to be. Thank you Chef your Xmas dinner was delicious.

Called in for breakfast & really enjoyed. Fairly standard menu but food & service excellent. Limited coffee choice but new machine pending. Good value - will be back.
