Imagine the surprise we got when discovering that Wickes had only delivered HALF of the kitchen we ordered the day we were due to install it!Not only did they fail to communicate that with us while delivering the materials, when we called their customer support line, 'Cara' was unsympathetic, unnappologetic, and ridiculously unhelpful. Aside from informing us that the apparent reason for the partial delivery was a breakage in the warehouse, all that they could do was give us a £15 refund for our trouble. Honestly we found her demeanour and candidness to be severely lacking for anyone working in a customer service role.We even offered to come and pick up the remaining parts from the warehouse ourselves but received a flat no. The 'best' they could do was inform us that the remaining parts might be delivered sometime next week. Leaving us holding the bag for the tradesmen and friends we had recruited for the install over the next few days. Brilliant.If this is how they take responsibility for mistakes and handle their customer service, then we are scared to see what this supposed kitchen will even look like... 0/10 would not waste money with this business again.

I recently visited Half Price Items and was disappointed to find that many items in the 'half price' basket were not actually half price. After trying a few items on, I noticed that the price tags on the tails showed the original price, which was significantly higher than the discounted price advertised in the basket. I brought this to the attention of a staff member, but they seemed unconcerned and uninterested in rectifying the situation. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty when it comes to pricing, and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that Half Price Items can improve their practices to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!The geriatric One Direction guys in the kitchen/bathroom design DO NOT CARE! They have your money now so aftercare plummets. Reading the reviews here are very similar if not the same. They are consistently bad. Busy on their own phones, will not turn around from computers or look up from their own phones. If you have to go in please only deal with the lovely lady there called Maria. Do your sale with her as Maria is consistently good. Gives excellent customer service. Is patient and has time for you even though she knows the sale has already been done with Harry Styles Grandad! she cares. However found out my worktops are double the price in Wickes. Same ones half the price in Howdens and Homebase. If I could give zero stars I would. Please shop around. You have been warned. Remember you have a choice. Management don?t seem bothered either. How this store is still open is beyond me. They got some of the measurements wrong luckily it could be fixed by kitchen fitter.

Ordered a new bathroom from Wickes (Stockport) Design and install service in October 2022. Fitter visited in November 2022 and scheduled for January 2023. Fitter informed Wickes in December 2022 he would no longer do the job. Wickes never informed us leaving us without a fitter. They then scheduled another fitter, new delivery dates without informing us of any of this. To add insult to injury the second fitter also refused to do the job. We grew fed up and went to store for refund where staff couldn?t seem less interested and wouldn?t even turn around from their computer screens. I would avoid Wickes at all costs, and never shop there again. Shambolic.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company, specifically the kitchen/bathroom installation department has made my Mother's life a misery for nearly a year. Everything has been a disaster and my Mother has been without a kitchen or bathroom for a year and is currently living with her sister until this situation is resolved. What makes this worse is the constant adverts on the radio promoting Wickes bathroom/kitchen department- is this a joke?!! I want to speak to a senior manager asap. Avoid this company!!

Toolstation has relocated out of the store.The stock has improved and the prices are always better than B&Q.

Always helpful, pretty quiet at about 8 when I got there, click and collect worked like a dream.
