I can't fault the eye doctors themselves or the technicians. All are really helpful. However, there is a faulty system that makes you feel like you are on an assembly line. You are greeted by someone when you get to the door, which is nice but they didn't have my appointment. Even though it was booked 3 weeks in advance, I'd had a reminder text a week before, and someone phoned me to confirm the appt the day before. I was told to take a seat, but they have 10 or so waiting seats & 20 customers waiting. It was 8° outside and 35° in the shop. I waited an hour sweating before being brought back for glaucoma tests, etc... then back to the crowded waiting room to wait for the eye dr. I was told to find frames, and someone would measure me and order my glasses.However I waited so long to get my exam & and prescription. I couldn't wait another 40 minutes for a tech to be available to measure me and write up the order.I understand they have to see an optimal amount of patients to stay open, but it was crammed full of people and families. There must be a better system.

Hearing aid repair. Had an appointment for 30.12.23 told em what I needed. They rang me to confirm my appointment and speak about my repair. Got told over phone yes we can do this all fine etc. Went to the appointment to be told we can't repair this hearing aid. Even though I got it from their and to go to another branch??? Whhhyyy . The young lady at the door couldn't find me on her list. So shown her appointment confirmation. Nope still can't find me. Well I haven't invented the appointment. So went to hyde branch. Theh fixed my hearing aid and they told me stockport should if been able to do it like hyde could. Stockport total waste of F#####G time and parking money

The eye examination and tests were carried out thoroughly. I didn?t need new glasses on this occasion but felt satisfied with the excellent service and will certainly go back to Specsavers in the future.

OK for my son who has a straight forward prescription for short sightedness but I use varifocals and have astigmatism in both eyes and my test wasn't any where near my actual prescription when I got it repeated somewhere else the test matched my previous prescription in axis and cylinder, specsavers test changed one axis from 135 to 90

This is an absolutely fantastic store . Couldn?t fault them at all . Professional staff , they listen to what you say , have fantastic equipment for detecting eye disease . The OCT machine is amazing. I gave the best pair of specs I?ve ever had .

We went to Specsavers as they opened the door on a Monday morning. Shop was empty so we had loads of time to pick our glasses no rushing about fantastic service by Alister the optician

Can't fault them, pleasant and helpful staff throughout the store. Despite it being a very busy day my appointment was on time. Eyes tested, glasses chosen and fitted all within 30 mins or so. I found the whole experience very well managed and efficient.

I had experienced extremely bad service in the past from the Hyde branch!However I called Stockport and they fitted me in the same day!I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Zoya she is credit to your company.I received a very professional examination and my faith in Spec-savers is restored many thanks.I did not order on the day as the anti glare coating costs as much as the frames!I managed to purchase my glasses today with the anti glare coating included at no extra cost!!Perhaps something Spec savers should consider !!

An optometrist named Mariam saw me.She was absolutely lovely!She explained everything really well and took her time to make me feel really comfortable.Will definitely come to see her again.Thanks Mariam ;)

Not happy with the service I received. I went for a contact lens trial but failed miserably. After waiting ages for an appointment it turned out to be a waste of time. The lady teaching me to put my lenses in kept looking at her watch which put me on edge and made me feel rushed. She then suggested I make another appointment for an optician to put them in for me. I asked can we not do this now while I?m here. The reply was no because we?re all waiting to go for lunch. This is why she kept checking her watch. She was hungry! What an absolute waste of my time. I now have to go back in a fortnight because there are no earlier appointments that suit a working woman!! I felt a stressful situation was made worse because I was being rushed!
