“Fantastic staff! Really know their stuff. I post abroad weekly and they consistently save me money , explaining to me the best service to use. They go above and beyond to help. Anyone saying otherwise about the people that work here clearly have a stick stuck somewhere on their person , and should give their head a wobble. Efficient & friendly even when serving nut jobs & rude people . Can't fault the place or staff. I would highly recommend this post office .”
“Had excellent service here on Monday when I was sending books to the USA.as I'd just collected them from Waterstones I needed to get packaging too. The assistant was the friendliest and most helpful person. I'm sorry to have not made a note of his name. I had called in earlier to post some cards and was served by a lovely lady on that visit too. Well done team, it was so refreshing to be 'served' in a shop, rather than just hand over payment for goods. Merry Christmas to you all.”
“Woodsmoor post office, or Pete’s Post Office as some know it by, is a very important part of our community. It’s been a part of us for ages, employs our kids with newspaper rounds and til jobs. The staff are great and local, too! No one has ever been rude to us, and we came from well outside this area back in 2008! We’ve watched neighbourhood children grow up in there as paper carriers, and then come back for part-time jobs during the holidays from Uni. It doesn’t have everything, but the strawberries are ripe and fresh in the summer from local farms, the pies are fantastic and local, too. The bacon and sausages are from reasonably local farms, as is most of the veg. You can buy stamps at the til even when the post office is closed! The wine selection is quite good, and they carry our favourite bagels!! We get The Guardian online but still get the paper on Saturdays, because our sons had jobs there and learned a lot from Pete, Tom, Dez, Jim and the whole lot. They sell local Woodsmoor calendars and Mirrlees Fields stuff, plus our local artists’ work is also advertised.”
“Queues are small and manageable. Newsagents and post office with super helpful staff. After coming from London and the hell that is a crowded, unfriendly post office -pretty much always, this one is a breath of fresh air. I don't have to psyche myself up to visit & book out a couple of hours. Id even go so far as to say, it's almost a pleasure to do my posting and sort my life admin here!”

“Always received friendly service here whether that’s sending a prepaid item or collecting parcels. The only thing that’s a bit annoying is the branch occasionally being closed when it should be open according to the opening times on the door.”
