The receptionists need training to actually smile and not be so stuck up their own backside. They look depressed and they?re so rude it?s unreal.

Absolutely fuming Bupa my backside so I was with this dentist until it changed to so called Bupa. I was then told my dentist left and would be getting a new one last month and would be informed waited nothing a friend went in NHS by the way Got an appointment straight away I went in told no dentist after being asked private or NHS private I said no sorry will inform you when have a dentist excuse me but you are supposed to be Bupa private after an argument thatcould not be explained by the receptionist as to why they are only now accepting NHS and none that pay private which has always beens bupa I am not impressed I now have to find another dentist and not a fraudulent company fuming you carry on taking care of the benefit wallowers and take the piss out of the ones that do pay I'm fuming

My experience was very good. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and our dentist, Brian, always makes myself and my family feel at ease.

Absolutely shocking would not recommend ! I have not been able to get my son an appointment for getting on for 8 months now and today phoned only to be told to ring back in August ( after being told to ring on May!) my sons dentist has left meaning that he no longer has access to treatment or checkups ! Can?t see any other dentist that is there apparently! He has been referred to the orthodontist due to needing extensive work - through no fault of his own .Several months ago I phoned the dentist as wanted to get him checked and also enquire where his referral was up to and where he had been referred to ( been on list for 18 months ) they could tell me where they had referred as they didn?t know ! Thankfully as I have half a brain i have managed to play detective and find out ( not via bupa kenworthy street dentist though )The receptionist suggested I go private which could cost in excess of 8 grand - even helpfully suggested I could remortgage to pay ! Disgusted to be honest by her attitude!I work hard , but I don?t have that kind of money .All I want is an nhs dentist that will see my child ! Bupa kenworthy street dentist is neglectful - and not interested .This is an nhs dentist - please don?t register honestly you won?t get seen - no preventative work undertaken here !

Can?t even get an appointment for my 13 year old child , was advised to phone back in May ( due to dentist leaving ) now have been told to phone back in august . He needs significant orthodontic treatment ( been on list for 18 months ) advice given by receptionist was to pay private - which I have had an estimated price ( from dentist ) of anything upward of 8000 pounds . Really disappointed like a third world country !

So far, my experience at Bupa has been positive. I have been seen by a brilliant, female dentist and each time, she gives great advice and is trustworthy. I have avoided going to other dentists in the past as it always seemed like they found problems and made it seem like it was a worst case scenario (removal of teeth or filling) but after all these years my tooth is healthy and has not caused any problems. But since I went to Bupa, I feel reassured and don't feel like I'm being mugged off. Making an emergency dental appointment wasn't a problem at all and was in fact arranged very quickly which was very helpful. There are sometimes issues getting through to reception as calls aren't always picked up and the wait can be long, so this was a rare occasion where I was able to get through and was given an appointment straight away. This is no fault of those who work there but purely down to the structure of the building: one of the dental rooms is directly next to the reception and often when the door is opened, even briefly, I worry others may be able to see me and this makes me feel a little embarrassed and uncomfortable.
