This Marks and Spencer Food location is located inside Salford Royal Hospital. It's located past WHSmith inside the Hope building. The interior looks like pretty much any Marks and Spencer, and the prices didn't seem higher for essential grocery items due to being in the hospital, which is how it should be (No one chooses to be in a hospital), although the prices of gifts including the fancy boxes of chocolates did seem to have a surcharge. The selection in-store was good, although I wasn't able to find what I was looking for.The to-go food and drink section was pretty good, with lots of choices for sandwiches, although there was nothing in that respect for gluten-free. The GF New Yorker Sandwich was sold out (I wouldn't have had this anyway as I HATE seeded bread), and they didn't have tags on the shelves for any other sandwich fillings or gluten-free wraps. The store had a good selection of their "Made Without Wheat" range, outside of the sandwiches although it was split across the store, this is the first time I've seen a Marks and Spencer actually put the items randomly across the store, rather than having their own dedicated section, this included fridge items and pasta.3* - A cool store to have inside the hospital, the fact they're open until 9 PM during the week is especially helpful if you have a late appointment or are staying in the hospital, I do think the gluten-free situation needs more work, simplifying things by putting the products in one area of the store, and ensuring a variety of gluten-free sandwiches rather than just one sandwich which was sold out anyway.

Good selection to pick up snacks and drinks when visiting. Plenty of options for lunch too.

Why are the tills cash only?I can't use self scan easily due to disability also refuse to use them on a job principal.I go to tills as my goods are packed for me but didn't have the cash! The staff member was lovely but this is definitely not disability friendly......Really M & S? In a hospital too?!Wasn't a good experience.

Very expensive and got a dirty look from a staff member when I picked up a bottle of Scottish spring water and simply asked if they sold any English water instead.

M & S for this outlet stands for Mislead and Swindle. The meal deal items are not clearly marked and sections get separated by non meal deal items. Also the only non fizzy drink in the meal deal is water.Disappointing!

Some nice food but prices are a little on the steep side especially when having to pay for parking several times a week. Could do with more deals for shoppers.
