Lloyds Bank is among the very few banks which opens an account without proof of address. When we first came to the UK, we had no proof of address and had difficulties with keeping our cash money safe! We opened an account online and the next day we went to the bank for some ID check and everything was fine then! The bank tellers and other staff were really patient and answered every single question with patience and nice behavior. The bank sent us the debit cards and the pins on different days for safety.

They are always short of staff. Had to wait 40 min to be seen by the staff.

Following a recent bereavement, I found it necessary to have to visit the Lloyds bank in Salford. I found the Staff who dealt with my issues to be friendly, tactful and sensitive to my situation. They helped me sort out a number of concerns I had and ensured I went away from the Bank feeling the advise and information offered had helped and supported me with any apprehensions I had.A particular thanks goes to Ricardo and Craig Derbyshire.

Our MP recently described our great City as " the People's Republic of Salford" - unfortunately she meant it. You have to look no further than Lloyds Bank in Pendleton to support her claim and see how life must have been in the Soviet Union. Jobsworths, who think the Branch is run for their benefit and their guaranteed salaries. Customer Service is non existent and some of them even seem to be offended that customers dare to ask them to do some work. I have complained to their Head Office many times and so far have received about £200 in compensation because what I told them was proved to be correct. Small example - my Wife opened a business account online but was told she had to go to Pendleton with her ID, Staff there told her they "did not handle business accounts" The Manager needs to be sacked and a new one brought in to point out to these lazy b.........s that their wages are paid for by the customers who use the branch - nobody else!!!!!!!

the manager took £700 cash from us to put in deposit machine, the machine jammed so he went around the back to get the money and card. When he came back only £430 there he said its our word against his and I am trying to get hold of the arrears manager to investigate I have reported it to the police but still waiting. Put me under alot of pressure to replace the £270 missing money to cover bills.
