One of the worse service you can ever imagine from this Pharmacy. Rude staff disconnects phone while you are still enquiring about the flu vaccine which they keep on cancelling and wasted 3 weeks of my time by booking and cancelling the appointments on the day of your flu jab appointmment.

Really disappointed with the pharmacy counter here.First of all there are far too few staff which means the overall service is impacted. Prescriptions take forever to be filled out, there?s a lot of confusion amongst the staff when theres any small issues, wait times for absolutely everything are awful. This isn?t the staffs fault I think they just aren?t being given the resources necessary to carry out an effective service. But that?s extremely dangerous when it?s a pharmacy with people relying on it.I have had instances where I book in for vaccination appointments for a specific time slot and been sat there over an hour after the appointment time, where the man who was doing the vaccination only saw a single person before me and had absolutely no sense of urgency, chatting to other staff members etc. I normally am very forgiving for these things and assume there?s things behind the scenes I don?t know about but this was a very important flu jab for me as I am diabetic and it?s Incredibly dangerous for me not to have it and I know there are many other clinically vulnerable people in the same position as me. I saw at least 4 other people give up on their appointments and I ended up having to do the same.In Jan this year I almost died and was in ICU for over a week because I caught the flu which led to ketoacidosis, so it was really important for me to know I was safe this year.On top of this there have been multiple times I have been prescribed time sensitive and urgent medication, some from boots own online pharmacy, and it?s been dispensed days after the limit for when I was supposed to have taken it which is really irresponsible.I have now changed my pharmacy to a further away one just because I can?t afford to have such inconsistency with the medication I am on.

As with all Boots stores,there are not enough staff,queues are long.Pharmacist had nobody to support medicine counter today,so there was a man waiting ages for his prescription to be checked and I felt very sorry for the dispenser who dealt with my prescriptionrequest.Head office need to recruit and stop being greedy?!!

I have been visiting Boots in Sale for the past 46 years. Presently there is a very rude staff member that let's down the rest of the team down.

Due to the closure of Lloyd's pharmacy in Sainsbury's, I had to choose a different chemist to send my prescriptions to. Lloyd's were extremely efficient, always has stock, and we're friendly and helpful. Since using Boots, I've had nothing but problems. They never have stock of my medication. I've informed them that I will be requesting my medication every 4 weeks, but still no effort to order in advance. They say that once they receive the prescription it will take 2 days - I've now been waiting 7 and heard nothing. Staff are rude, unhelpful, always loads of them standing around and only one serving customers. They also shout out what your medication is in front of everyone, which is extremely unprofessional. I've tried to call them several times, but they never answer. I've also witnessed the phone ringing whilst I've been in there, and they just ignore it. Unfortunately there aren't many local pharmacy's, and some of the others have stopped taking on new customers, so I guess they think they can be incompetent!

It's Boots simple as. I would point out that this is a rather different Boots as it actually has staff to serve customers unlike many others where you are struggling to find anyone.

The building work has now been completed so the picture of the store is a little outdated as the scaffolding is no longer there. Inside there are all the facilities you would expect including a prescription collection option. Tends to only get busy at the weekend though, as it is quite a large store.
