A nice clean and well organised shop. Items are resonably priced and the staff are really welcoming and polite. I can't understand why the other reviews are so negative?

Went today knowing the sign in the door said last donations at 3:30.Rang the bell to be greeted by a woman who?s first words were ?we stopped taking donations at 3pm? (it was 3:15). I stated the time to be told they were full and go to next door charity shop which was shut. There was no apology, no suggestions to come back another time. No thank you for thinking of the charity. I know all staff are volunteers but they need a course in customer service.I have since found out this has happened to a neighbour of mine at the next door charity. So obviously they have had too many donations. But it would of been nice to if we had been told.

Staff member rudely approached me and shouted I must wear a face mask. After explaining I'm exempt, she told me I must show evidence. It's illegal to ask for this, government guidelines literally say so. This made me feel really uncomfortable and humiliated around other people in the shop.

A good not great charity shop just on the corner of Bury New Road; this is where you can find some bargains but nothing life changing.. unless someone just gets there before me and I just need to be more sly?? I'd recommend having a quick look through their shoes plus some of their costume jewellery is cute (in the glass cabinet by the till). Why would you go to Topshop and pay for fakes when you can get the real thing that someone's grannie has donated? Back to the shoes- if you're willing to stand a little mark you can get some real gorgeous pairs. Lets face it, you'll wear them once and they'll be marked anyway.. The stock is always kept tidy and it feels brighter than most charity shops; they do normally have loads of VHS videos but I wonder if they don't finally take them down now we're in the midst of a "digital switchover"... There are two changing rooms which are ACTUAL rooms and not just a curtain in the corner.. although if that curtain is even the least bit open, people from the street would be able to see in. A bit disconcerting to say the least. One last note: the staff (well, volunteers) are pretty friendly except when they're about to shut..
