Went to visit the cafe, and the staff made me feel so uncomfortable. I have a dairy allergy and I understand it?s a pain to make/do but the way I was treated made me want to leave.I asked for an oat latte and the staff member goes ?you do realise we have to wipe everything down and this will take longer for your drink to be ready.? I felt bad because yes the queue was getting longer and longer and the staff member was getting very annoyed. But unfortunately I have an allergy and this can?t be avoided

Avoid ! Especially if you are buying instore and expect a level of customer service after spending the best part of £400 with this company......Bought an expensive coffee machine yesterday. By no means an inexpensive purchase !! It came with an offer, which the sales person had no idea of whatsoever, notwithstanding he seems to have no interest in the sale he was making either. Anyway, the way to get the offer was/is to download a QR code from the box it came in, they switched the appliance, there's actually no code on the box it came in after it was switched, you ring the contact number and the best they offer is go back to the store. The store had no clue and customer services are of no use or help !Bottom line its not so much about the offer it came with its all about the instore sales people not having the slightest idea what it was or actually selling the product. And genuinely all I got from the lady on the customer service line was that's an instore issue, everyone time I got that stock response it was dead air on the call, when probed further all you get as a reply is - we only deal with purchases made online. Add to that she said there is no way of contacting the store directly, so if I want to redeem the offer I now have to make the trek back to the Trafford Centre....Fully appreciate this is a first world problem but that aint the point !!!MT

An Excellent store to do shopping, an outstanding customer service. The staff is so kind and helpful that even product becomes faulty after a little over guarantee period, they offer a replacement to you. Never seen this kind of service anywhere. I will give my first choice to purchase from John Lewis.

Woeful. At about 2pm on Friday 23rd of February 2024 I decided to call into the John Lewis Cafe.Where to start... I was surprised to find the queue trailing out of the cafe. It took 31 minutes to get our drinks to a table. In the meanwhile, I witnessed all manner of poor food practice.Food temperature contact probes being used to check the refrigerator outlet ducts and probing pieces of cake nearest the duct! The piece at the front furthest away wasn't checked.Operation of the coffee machine was poor. 4 x 4pint bottles of milk, stood on the counter top for the duration I stood in the queue (31, minutes) out of the fridge!Let alone the steam delivery nozzle not being wiped clean between use!

I wasn?t looking for anything in particular in here but there is so much to see and shop for here, John Lewis is definitely worth a look if you?re in the Trafford Centre. There is a plethora of different designer brands plus their own ?Any-day? brand which looks really good and is a bit cheaper. There?s more than just clothing though. There?s jewellery, hats, sunglasses, handbags and man bags etc.I have included a few photographs of some of the different brands and stalls however these don?t do this great store justice really, it looks much better in real life and has a great shopping atmosphere. There is also a cafe upstairs which is fantastic.I can happily recommend this store if you?re at the Trafford Centre. It?s much better to come in the week rather than the weekend though as it does get very busy on Saturdays and Sundays. There is plenty of free parking here as the Trafford Centre has several huge car parks. There are also bus and Tram links here from all around Greater Manchester so it?s easy to get here. As I said, it does get busy at weekends though so remember that if you?re driving here. Thanks for reading

Came in for brunch with a friend and it was busy. Some of the staff didn't have a clue what they were doing and were just standing around not being helpful at all. However there was one member of staff who's name I got Malket and she was very helpful and professional and we noticed her picking up the slack from the other staff who were just standing there. So thank you Malket you truly are a great employee and a true professional, I'd definitely be coming back if she's on shift.

Oh dear. 11.30am, a busy Saturday morning, a couple of weeks before Christmas. A time when shops and cafes should be well staffed, people should not be kept waiting 15 minutes to get a cup of tea and Saturday employees should not be fiddling with their hair while serving food. A time when managers should ensure long queues are not forming, staff should be aware that not every customer is able to stand and wait for nearly 20 minutes to be served while the staff chat, move at a snails pace and be gazing into space. Absolutely dreadful service, saved only be a reasonably clean and tidy eating area and a decent - ish cup of tea. This is not acceptable and quite honestly, it's no wonder that John Lewis are struggling if this is any indication of the levels of service.
