This is a very hard review to do as their cakes and desserts are amazing 5* for sure without a doubt but we went there for breakfast and my meal was beyond awful. I am not a fussy eater and would normally finish a plate because I hate food waste but the vege breakfast that I got I simply couldn?t stomach. The combination of flavours just simply didn?t work and it was about the quality of a school cafeteria. If I was rating this purely based on the breakfast it would be a one star.I gave them another go due to hearing good things about their cakes. The cake we had was amazing and decadent and just the right consistency you would hope for in a cake. I think they have tried to expand from their specialty of dessert and it has not hit the mark. If you go here for their lovely desserts you will not be disappointed but avoid their brunch.Staff were fine and pleasant.

I actually went here a few months ago but it actually does serve an amazing variety of hot chocolate! The only con was that I could tell the staff weren?t pleased to welcome customers half an hour til close although we left within 15 minutes. Overall, it?s definitely worth visiting!

Cocoa Cabana clearly struggle with admin and customer service looking at other reviews.We reserved a table here, but never received a booking confirmation so assumed there were issues with the reservation and booked elsewhere.The day comes and we get a call first thing in the morning asking to cancel the booking. We assumed this had already been done/ was unnecessary due to the lack of confirmation. A £60 deposit was taken out of our account.We?ve asked whether this can be used as a holding deposit for a future visit with a fairly large party but were told this wouldn?t be possible.Which is a shame because we were genuinely looking forward to visiting.

I entered this establishment and was advised to use the QR code to order. I was fine with this. I went to use the bathroom and almost fell sliding about, and it was obvious the toilets are not checked : soapy, wet floor. I returned to the table, with my Autistic child playing on my phone, noticing that every other table had a menu. I asked the waitress politely for a menu, to which her dismissive response was to use the QR code. I stated "I would still like a menu". Eye rolling followed, and deliberately slow compliance to my request. I informed her about the bathroom floor, to which she showed more attitude. I returned to my table, and felt I really wanted to eat here, but didn't feel I could after this. I went to the front desk and asked for a manager, to which I was advised the member of staff with the attitude was the supervisor and no manager was present. I opted to leave the issue, but saw the member of staff I'd enquired of a manager to informing the supervisor. The supervisor came to my table, despite that I'd stated to the other member of staff I wished to leave the issue. I repeated this decision to the supervisor, and she would not accept this, and repeated the enquiry as to what the issue, very much presenting it as a challenge. I was disgusted by her attitude and we left. The cakes and drinks looked really nice, but I couldn't possibly stay. Prior to leaving the member of staff I'd enquired about a manager came to the table, and seemed to find the situation slightly amusing. I come out so I don't have to cook, and clean, but this is not having a nice time. Do bathroom checks, give your guests menus, and eat some humble pie.

I came here for the first time with my friend. I had the avocado toast and Yule log. The bread was shaped really funny which I didn?t expect.But it does seem this cafe has some odd policies in place.I asked the worker if they have any paper menus after he told us we have to order via QR. He said no, just QR code and takeaway is served at the till.A family of 4 came after us for a pre-booked afternoon tea and were immediately given paper menus and served directly by the server.It would?ve been nice if the staff were more truthful about this.Obviously it?s not the end of the world to order online but it simply is far more authentic and convenient to order the ?traditional? way. Especially when you have to go through the nuisance of connecting to the Wi-Fi to order and signing up your email.On top of that, the cakes on display at the till are not even covered by a dome or protective screen which is extremely unhygienic. Dust and spit can easily touch the cakes.Over half of the seating area is closed too which is a huge shame because I wanted to sit by the window but it?s whatever. They probably only open it when it?s busy but it?s still ? a strange policy to have ??My friend asked for a takeaway box to take our cakes away. After some time, the lady forgot to give us one which is fine so she asked the guy but he gave thin paper bags which squished my cake in my bag. The family of 4 ended up getting proper cardboard takeaway boxes but not us.The music was also too loud.Overall, the food was good. Coffee was, sadly, lukewarm. Service and setting could be better.Don?t think I?ll come back here again. ??

This was my first time and I will defo come back.I went for a brunch with a friend and we were not disappointed.I had the Cabana special benedicts. The fried chicken was so crispy and tender at the same time. The poached eggs were just perfect.My friend had the apple and cinnamon French toast and she loved it. I tried some and it every part of it was delicious: from the vanilla mascarpone, to the caramelised apples, the salted caramel sauce and the brioche with the cinnamon.We washed it down with a hit chicolate and a cappuccino and they were both lovely. Highly recommend Cocia Cabana for a brunch for their delicious food, great vibe and fair prices.

In the picture, everything seems nice and tasty, but when you visit this place, all expectations of the fancy place are turning into a nightmare. First things first, I was welcomed by the server aggressively if I had a reservation, and she rolled her eyes at why I was coming by without a prior booking. Secondly, there is no reception, so you can't browse the web or find what you would like to eat as the display on the front counter is pretty much empty, not like in the pictures. So to make an order you have to deprave yourself and give some unnecessary data to connect to the Wi-Fi which is even worse than a cellular network! All orders you have to place through their system on your phone, so actually you won't know what you get until food is served. And the last thing I want to say is that the food served is average, nothing spectacular, when it comes to cakes, it is again only looking good, but tasteless. Speaking about the coffee, I haven't had the worst coffee in my entire life, americano was filled in half of the mug, but was not drinkable. The acidity of the coffee was horrible. I will never come here again, as the food is just average, the coffee you can forget, and the atmosphere is plain without anything special. Not worth your time.

The equivalent of ?server doesn?t care if you live or die? on TikTok. Not my choice of venue, treated as if I?d broken in before opening time by staff. Kitchen closed, half the room closed. Rude sever . Why would I come back?

Went here 3 times and every time i got told very promptly we close at 5 and 2/3 times we got given a table when others were available saying they were reserved yet no one showed up in the time we were there. Everything is way too sweet and staff seemed like they didn?t want us there and were rushing.
