I had the worst experience in my life today in this very store. Date : 05 March 2024, Time: After 8:00PMI visit this store all the time as it?s the nearest one. As usual I chose the stuff to buy and right after paying the bill, the security asked if I have got something in my pocket. I told him that if he has doubts he could check me.This is clearly an insult and this is a serious accusation that he dropped on me, ?a polite way of calling me a shop lifter?.I felt so insulted and it still bothers me. I should have raised my issue that very moment, but I don't know why I didn't do that, I was shocked and now I feel stupid for not raising my concern at that very moment with the Store Manager. I don?t think I could ever rely on this store. From the very moment I entered the store I could feel that he had set his eyes on me, staring at me the whole time. I don?t understand what is suspicious of me, but accusing someone wrongly should never be in your methods. For the first time coming to this country I felt like I am to be doubted by people who look at me, and thats a weight not easy to unburden.

Unethical company worst customer care and helping you unravel their mistakes. Not good

Security guard is always staring at me whenever I go in there and follows me around like a creep even tho I don?t even look at him and mind my business. Usually loads in the sale and there?s hot pizza slices and bacon and cheese pastries and more which are gorgeous!!! But the security guard lets it all down (black guy with glasses)

My good friend and I didn't appreciate being closely followed around the entire store by the bullish jobsworth of a security guard this evening. He walked right behind us for almost the entire time that we were there, and literally stood over us to watch us using the self-checkout. The whole experience was quite intimidating and upsetting. We were both wearing tracksuits and hats because it was very cold outside, and seemingly this was enough for him to assume we were going to shoplift. He's never followed us when we've visited while wearing our usual clothing, and we've never stolen anything from the store, so I am confident that he was unfairly stereotyping us.The upsetting thing is that I'd predicted he would judge us based on our clothing before we entered the store. And I wouldn't mind but the security guard isn't exactly smartly dressed himself! We shall take our business to Sainsbury's next time.

Local to me, friendly staff also has the self checkout. Become a member and get money off certain products, and get free money for yourself and you can choose a local charity to receive free money too.?

Always run out of the hot food, some days don't have it at all. Always low on stock of drinks so they are so far back on shelves that I can't reach, and I'm average height. Probably not the staffs fault, probably understaffed like every where else in Tory Britain.

Used to come to this store for years till the regular security guard decided to shout in my ear and tell me to get out of the store because he somehow thought I was deliberately smashing a heavy bottle of water onto the self-checkout. Given how small and unsteady the self-checkouts are, it's pretty understandable that accidents will happen. He even tried laying his hands on me, which he failed to do, so he called me a psychopath as I exited the store. Little bit of self-projection there me thinks. What if I had been an elderly woman? If you've been to this store before, you know which guard I am talking about. It was obvious that he was just that bored that he was looking for trouble, knowing full well that he'll have the store employees on his side no matter how appalling his behaviour is. I do not feel comfortable to ever go to this store again. When I consider how toxic the staff environment has become there, I think I'll snub this store for the rest of my life tyvm!

This is a good size small market, it's clean and easy to get around. There's all your usual products on sale, tinned stuff, chilled and frozen, fresh fruit and vegetables and a tabacconist and drinks stall. The staff seem friendly enough. It's a bit expensive though but it's handy and on the main street surrounded by other shops and restaurants.

The Most Wonderful Staff. But the prices are more representative of the student population than the actual Everyday customers who live in the immediate vicinity. CO OP is over priced which makes no sense when you look at their backstory a Cooperative is meant to be fairer for the people it's meant too serve. Peace Love Light And Laughter ??

Called in to pickup a sandwich for dinner. People tell me that they find it pricey in here, but I thought it was reasonable. I don't make it a habit to come in any of these shops, because I usually bring sandwiches in from home. But again clean and tidy, plenty of sandwiches to choose from. Staff seemed helpful enough.

Very annoying how the stock is done in the morning so I have to weave inbetween lots of trolleys and staff members. Also came in at 11am for a meal deal and the entire fridge was empty. Other than that there are some good veggie options but everything is rather expensive.

Good and friendly local store. Prices are reasonable but a good selection. Excellent pastries...if they're not all gone by the time you get there. Check out the wonderful Marcus Rashford mural across the road.

Convenient but expensive unless on offer or reduced...the 5 gbp meal offers are good I struggle with why the basics of milk and bread are generally expensive in a supposedly community focused store...versus Aldi & Lidl...
