I recently purchased two pairs of glasses from the Trafford Centre branch, and they arrived in the post on October 20th. I was excited about both of them, but one pair turned out to be quite loose. After reaching out to the Vision Express helpline, I had the pleasure of speaking to a gentleman who provided clear and helpful guidance. He assured me that I could visit any local store, not necessarily the one I initially bought from, to address the issue. Furthermore, he confirmed that the glasses were still within the 100-day warranty, and I wouldn't incur any charges, even if they needed to be replaced.I chose to visit the Leigh store, which was closer to my location. However, my experience at the Leigh store was disappointing. The sales associate, Kat, who assisted me (blonde with short hair), was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. She immediately declared the glasses as "damaged" and informed me that I would have to pay the full cost for a new frame. Her refusal to provide any assistance at the Leigh branch left me frustrated and dissatisfied. She suggested that I could try the Trafford branch to see if they would "honour" the warranty.In response to Kat's uncooperative attitude, I contacted the Trafford branch right away. The person at the Trafford branch was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. She assured me that I could bring the glasses in, and they would address the issue free of charge under the "manufacturer warranty." She even took the initiative to contact the Leigh branch herself and expressed her confusion regarding their refusal to assist me.I promptly made an extra trip to the Trafford Centre, where they were able to make the necessary adjustments without the need for a replacement. This was a straightforward procedure that the Leigh branch should have been willing to perform. The sales associate there seemed disinterested and provided subpar customer service. Fortunately, an excellent Irish gentleman at the Trafford branch graciously tightened the glasses for me, and I was pleased to have my original pair fully functional

Love this store. I have been coming to this particular store for over 10 years. I travel from liverpool because the staff are so friendly and helpful. I was seen by Seema and helped by Diane today and as always the service was amazing. Can?t fault anyone at this store. No matter which member of staff it?s always a good experience

Contacted the store recently to change a contact lens prescription. Katrina was so helpful and went above and beyond with her customer service skills to enable me to find the best affordable solution. Thank you, your help really was appreciated.

I called this store before my appointment to check my contact lenses check would be free as I receive UC. They said it would be. When I arrived at store the optician told me that you can only receive a free NHS eye test for glasses (this is not true) and that i would either need to pay £35 or sign up for their contact lenses subscription. I told them that it is illegal to refuse to give a patient their prescription, as I had the same issue with another store 10 years ago who refused to give me my prescription because I didn't buy contact lenses from them. Eventually, after I had complained, they gave me the prescription as they also knew it was illegal, just like the optician today knows this is illegal but still refused to preform his job correctly. I will be making a complaint about this store to the OCCS. You do not need to pay onto their subscription services for contact lenses in order for them to release your prescription. The store know this is illegal but most likely think people are too stupid to know this. An NHS eye test is free for glasses and contact lenses and my prescription belongs to me, not the store. If they try this with you, walk away and complain.

Have been to the store 5 times now to get my glasses adjusted. Ended up with a new frame after the amount of adjustments left my glasses warped and mangled. I have a new frame now but will give it another week or 2 before I decide if i want to keep this pair of glasses or not
