The new owners removed the cash machine, removed the post office. They say the post office is broken, but they know they removed that service. Nothing stays broken without being fixed for 6 months, especially a post office. They replaced these important conveniences with beers. They now operate as an off licence. I hope they go out of business soon and I?m sure they will. Will never walk into that shop again.

Parking good, people miss that you can park on the other side of the roundabout.Property established 1888, possibly a historic landmark.They don?t sell stamps! (Last time I checked!!!)

I have previously received excellent services from this outlet. However the recent attendant has been condescending and raised his voice at me and refused to offer me service. His refusal left me stranded

This PostOffice is a surprise when you walk in. It is well stocked, clean and tidy and the postmaster is so helpful. My elderly neighbour went in on Monday for her pension and she bought a few grocery items. He offered to drop them off for her. That is what I class as ?going the extra mile?.

New management finally !!! This guy is amazing, friendly and kind !! Please come back to use this post office if you haven?t! I didn?t for a long time due to the last owner being always rude and overcharging etc. so it?s nice to know he has gone !!! And won?t be missed lolThe new management who has taken over has one on railway road too , so it?s nice to see him in this one!This is the reason why I?m writing this review :) as the people who don?t know it?s been taking over can use it again knowing they won?t have to deal with bad customer service !I?ll be back here from now on ! Thank you :)

I bought a postal order here for DVLA, turned out i dint need it so returned it about 4-5 weeks later to be told it had expired ( it hadnt ) i went back again after checking i could legally cash it at any post office from 12 months of purchase, again refused to cash it ( very rude telling me he makes no money running P.Office part and relies on shop part ) this time telling me the code wouldnt go in computer, again i contacted postal service who assured me any P.O could cash it with reciept. I tried once more at firs lane again refused excuses after excuses, it was issued at this P.O, told me i needed reciept which i pulled out and still refused. Very rude man and as been reported to head postal services also filmed my last visit n sent this footage in, ended up going westleigh P.O cashing it, cashed it instantly and told me they should of cashed it too, very very dissapointing.. it also costs nothing for manners. Wont use again... NO STARS FOR THIS P.O.

For a moment I thought the reviews on here were a joke but I?ve now seen they?re rightBasically - don?t use this shopI turned up today (15/12/21) at 5:15 immediately after work to post something and arrived just as he was shutting the shuttersI asked what time he closes and he said ?oh 4:30-5pm we close? I said ?really? I checked the times? and he said ?we close 5:15?I pointed to the sign outside and said that it shows the times 7am - 7pm and he just told me ?it?s not fixed times? whilst rudely walking away as we were talking and telling me he owns the place and can do what he wantsI said I wasn?t too happy and if he was the manager and he told me if I wanted to speak to him I can make an appointmentJust to help with identification, I spoke to an Asian man, with glasses and a beard - he had a hat so I can?t describe further

Absolutely appalling attitude of Asian man serving. ( I have given ethnicity in case there are other workers). Not the slightest helpful when collecting a parcel. When it wasn?t there said?NOT MY PROBLEM?Owner of this establishment needs to review its staff whilst it still has any business left.

Appalling place. The man was extremely rude and then overcharged me to return my parcel. I will be reporting this man to the post office. The shop is also filthy. I only went in because my local PO was closed and I?ll never go in again.
