Ours sales person Rebecca was really nice & not pushy just tried to find solution to suit us as we moving but do not have a moving date yet. Ordered sofa over a cuppa. We have bought our last 2 from here & both have lasted really well. Looked all over for "the one" & finally found it here as we have the last 2 sofas! Even better the one we liked was reduced to half price !!

Excellent service, not pushy, Darren was really friendly and listened to us and guided us to the perfect corner sofa. He didn?t rush us and made sure we was 100% certain of our choice before we bought.would definitely visit again.

Ordered a sofa from here two years ago.Within 9 months seams had started to come away, and the general build quality of the sofa was rather poor.Tried raising the issues with the frame and poor quality, but they were not interested in the slightest. It most certainly was not wear and tear.We ended up replacing the sofa with a 2nd hand one from another known company, and over a year on its still as it was the day we bought it.Really would avoid this place.

My husband and I went into Scs Bolton. We are from Preston, we was visiting family so thought we would pop into the bolton store as it?s much bigger. We was looking to buy a neutral coloured sofa.Having a toddler, I asked if it would be easy to clean food stains off the sofa, well a white woman (not sure if she?s transgender but had short hair, unimpressed staff replied: "you could clean turmeric off of it". Would she have said that to a white person? Just a casual, flippant remark but I didn't like it and left. I didn?t make a scene just left quietly.That comment was such a racist remark, and she laughed in our faces to try to laugh it off.I told my work colleagues the next day in work & they was some what livid that someone actually made that remark.It did upset me greatly. The sales lady or man I dont even know what she is sorry (genuinely am sorry I am not the type to go round being nasty because she or he was nasty to me). I was doomed for asking such a question. Really unprofessional manner.I hope the actual bosses see this comment before the store take it down.

Me and my partner were looking for a new sofa. The salesman literally followed us around, even upstairs. I understand they are on commission, but as adults, we are more than capable of finding a sofa we like.

I dont often leave reviews but we really did receive outstanding service here. We went to SCS after a dreadful experience at DFS and was expecting more of the same, but at SCS we spoke to 3 different staff members, all of whom were lovely, friendly and welcoming. They gave us friendly advice but also space to look around before helping us to choose what we wanted. There was a lovely family sort of feel to the team and it was more like being welcomed into their family home than dealing with salespeople. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they even offered us drinks while we were there and we chatted away with one sales person like we were long lost friend.These people are my tribe! Thank you for all your help

A joke of a company. Bought my flooring in May with delivery on the 21st of September. Took a week off work to receive the flooring. Kept calling just a few days prior delivery to make sure I had a time and date, they kept reassuring me was going to be delivered on the 21st, I even drove to the store in Bolton where Patrick in the flooring section reassured me and where I decided to purchase an additional item leaving 50 pound deposit. That was the 4th and I cancelled that item on the 6th.!On the 23rd I rang up and they said they are out of stock. Rearranged that the flooring will be in store in the 26th. Went to the store that said NO we haven?t received it will be now after bank holiday. Yesterday I receive an email saying the new date will be the 15th of September.I?m still not able to move to my new house because of them!Please please go local. Buy at your local store and help family businesses do not give your hard earned money to companies where nobody takes accountability for their actions. It?s always someone else fault. The suppliers, the vendors, the delivery team, the war. You stay hours on hold trying to get an answer over the phone and nobody cares.I always heard the company was a joke on their customer service and products having worked in retail years ago.I?m still waiting to receive 50 pound back from Bolt after 3 weeks.Francesco Ciraolo
