Absolutely shocking service in comparison to Bolton, wont be going to Bury again ever. Ordered a stop start battery online, when I got there gave the young lady my details she more or less moved the battery 60-100cm toward me by dropping it on the floor after lifting it about 30-50cm off the ground - will never understand why when would have been safer for her own back to just point at it (not that I couldnt read the AGM027 code type I'd ordered) young lady needs training in how to bend her knees when lifting. Asdide that to giver her some credit she did help me for a short while with the online ordering app. The fella that turned up off his lunch and older gentleman like myself had no idea that battery was mine and like the gestapo interrogated me when I pointed out Id be taking it with me with my extra online purchases Id made while on site. He insisted I produce the reciept despite the young lady who had not 5 mins before nearly caused herself an injury trying to lift it was stood not 10m away whom I pointed out to say if he wanted clarification to ask her. Nope .....totally ignored in the same way I stood at the till for 10 mins and was ignored when I asked a question while he concerned himself with serving several other customes while I was left hanging. Only when I produced the PDF from the online order was he happy. Second lesson of the day for staff - when someone tells you ask your collegue not stood more than 8-10m away please ask them instead of thinking the customer is some kind of thief when he's bothered to order extra stuff while in store. Absolutely the worst service ever, and Instead of the three of them gossiping with your work collegues about their customers having car accidents in the customer car parks maybe be more attentive to the customer who has been stood there for 15 mins right in front of you. Never got this kind of service at Bolton who excelled at customer service when I last shopped there. Never will I shop at Bury again. Worst customer service ever but as a concern I would ensure their junior staff know how to lift batteries properly to save themselve from back injuries and having to drop customers goods on the floor perhaps damaging them in the process.

Terrible service. Went here to get a bulb changed. Was told that there is no access to the bulb from a 10 second evaluation. I have had my bulb changed from Halfords before so I was confused. I then went on to say, no you should be able to. Their response was that I am being cocky. I ignored it and proceeded to tell them they should be able to change it. They took off some plastic panelling and then said they can't do it and I should go to a garage. Extremely poor service and lies told. Staff clearly don't know what they are doing fully. Also they were taking off the plastic screws with a flat head damaging each one. They should have used a hook tool designed to pry it open. I've just done a 1 HR return journey to a different Halfords that changed my bulb earlier this year. Job was done within minutes.

I went into Halfords for a new dashcam, absolutely brilliant and helpful member of staff. Thank you Angie you deserves an employee of the year award nothing was to much trouble. She was so helpful and informative of the products.

When purchasing my car seat covers, I asked a couple of questions that the assistant could not give an answer to. She also did not open the cover to resolve one of the issues,. There were also no hooks supplied with the covers to fasten them to the seats.You have to put holes in the cover for the headrests.

Battery health checked because poor performance and winter approaching, suggested needed changing as only 40 % charged. Reasonable deal on replacement however £20 charge for fitting a bit costly for a pensioner.

Visited 10/9/23 both workers on bikes team were awesome.Visited early June blonde middle aged lady off windscreen wipers and checkouts went the extra mile.I do think the bikes are expensive but staff explained the 25% offer incredibly well.Normally I hate hal"frauds" but these visits changed my mind
