First time to visit. Was rang yesterday. To say my new frame was in and bring my old ones in to change over lenses. I was told to sit down and wait. Ohh no seats! Empty. After about a 0 minutes wait I was cl3d over. By name. To a chap. And asked what here for. I explained to him and put my old frames on eh counter in front of him. Next minute a lady was stood not far away from. Me. He turned his attention to her to ask her what she wanted.! And. Then started to deal. With her! So I called a lady over and said. Y am. I. Sat here like a lemon. He was dealing with me. And. The. Totally ignored me and started to deal with. The woman! No sorry. No nothing. She said something to him. No apology from him neither then. He walked away!! ¶. Eventually I was dealt with by another person all. My family. Come to specsavers. Disgusting. Treatment!!! Going else where from now on!!!

been to bolton specsavers today to donate two pairs of expensive glasses only to be told they do not recycle glasses, even though there website says they do??

I have been going to this Specsavers for the past few months and they've previously been excellent. Today (15/09/2021 14:00 ish)I went in to place an order for some contact lenses, and unlike my usual 5 minute visit, I was there for 45.\\n\\nI was originally going get a direct debit order for two new boxes every month to be set up. After 25 minutes of waiting I was told I can't pay once a month and would have to pay for three months worth, which would save me £2 a box which obviously I declined. He then made an issue of me changing my mind, and moaned about this to his colleague within ear distance of me.\\n\\nHe then seemed to get confused with all the numbers he was stating as he originally said that three months worth would be £66, so one month would be £22, which would save me £2 from the usual price of £24. I chose the usual price, and this time he said it would be £30, so for two boxes there would be £60, all this despite a few minutes earlier he said it was £24 a box rather than £30 which he now claimed he didn't say and looked confused at me.\\n\\nHis colleague came over and shown me a few boxes and asked which of these I have previously had. I pointed out the box I usually order and both of them seemed confused by my request for two boxes of lenses on a one time purchase. So I said \\\"I will keep it simple and just order one box rather than the two at this point if it easier for you\\\". The original advisor then said \\\"so now you want one box\\\" as if I'm being incisive even though I actually wanted two boxes but was settling for one so I can make it simple for them and hopefully leave there within the hour. Then the second advisor started speaking to me in a loud, slow voice \\\"do you want one box, or two!\\\" as if there was something wrong with me. I then stated \\\"I simply want to order one box and leave\\\", thankfully they got the idea and I was able to place the order and leave.\\n\\nEvery other time I have visited this Specsavers the advisors have been polite and helpful and I've been able to leave with 5 minutes. Today I couldn't get a clear answer from the advisors, they would answer with a long convoluted monologue to a yes or no question and later say a different thing to the same question. It seemed as if we were speaking different languages and put a downer on my day visiting this place.

Very helpful lots of choice of glasses, very quick at dealing with what you require. Bought a pair of glasses and even got a voucher for 50% off any next pair! Great service.

The service is good but they are always very busy so leave plenty of time on your parking ticket as the appointment rarely runs on time.\\nWe arrived at 2:10pm and weren't seen until 2:50 so 40 minutes late and had to dash back to the car so as not to over run the parking time.

Took my mum here for eye test. Saw a young man who took extreme care and reassured her all through the process. He didn't rush us and explained everything as he proceeded.\\nAfter picking her glasses we arranged for them to be delivered. Just over a week later we received a call saying they were ready for collection. Explaining we had arranged for delivery the young man on the phone said he would get them out that day on courier but if she needed them urgently he would call on his way home after work. Great service throughout
