“I took my wife’s six year old flute in for a service as Booths (Tony) serviced a veeeeeery old Boosey & Hawkes 400 Tenor Sax years ago (he resurrected it, utterly knackered and then, I played it. It sounded brand new!) and also my B&H Regent Clarinet (that’s another story).But, this is about a service last week - here’s what my wife had to say“My six year old flute was beginning to sound breathy and it was getting hard to play top notes clearly (I thought it was me). Tony serviced my flute last week. It sounds like a brand new flute! It sings again ?.Tony replaced a faulty key pad and sorted out the cork mechanism which was moving around.Thank you so much. I’ll be back again next year for its next service ?”Now, you don’t know my wife. She has very high standards (hence her marrying me ??) but she seldom writes reviews except in exceptional circumstances.Well done, Tony and the gang at Booths - you are fabulous!!!”

“We went to Paul Davies to look for kitchen appliances only initially, a really good selection of appliances in the showroom at great prices. We got chatting to Karen who showed us around the kitchen showroom and we were so impressed, that we agreed to arrange for Karen to come out and measure up for us. This was arranged for 2 days later, Karen come out as scheduled and we had an estimate and plans back to us the same day. We were so pleased with the service that we booked the kitchen to be fitted the following week! The fitters Chris and the team, were fantastic, hardworking, polite and tidy. The service throughout brilliant, with Karen checking in with us all the way through, at the end of the phone when we had any questions. The after service was incredible with Karen again checking in to ensure we were happy and Martin coming out to thoroughly check to ensure everything was fitted perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better service.We also used the electrician Danny and plasterer Liam recommended by Paul Davies and they were both fantastic. We also used Prestige Granite and Marble as recommended by Paul Davies and the quartz work tops are stunning. We cannot believe how quick the project was from start to finish literally 10 days ! The kitchen was designed and fitted to the highest standard and is absolutely perfect, just what we wanted! I will definitely recommend Paul Davies to my family and friends.”

“Trade point... Not always the best and cheapest place to go. But they have the stock, and on a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday morning they are open to pull you out of the sticky stuff soo... You can't fault them for that..”

“Love this place but went into the one in Bolton at the weekend and they are in the middle of moving Iceland in so the aisles were very narrow, some too narrow to get the trolley down. Hopefully they'll sort it out otherwise folk will just miss out the aisles they can't get down.”

“Showed up to the store at 7;40 and they close at 8, Michelle was lovely and explained everything and then gave us space to find our mattress, Michelle offered us pillows for us to try out the mattresses and drink on arrival. In the space of 15 minutes we found both our bed and mattress and ordered and were out the store with no pressure to be gone by 8pm or to make decisions. Thanks Michelle for making this purchase easy for us.”

“Fantastic company to deal with from walking in the showroom to completion of the work. SC Cabinets supplied all the units for our kitchen to be fitted by a fitter we chose and had used before, unfortunately the fitter in question let us down, so we were left ‘high and dry’. We asked SC Cabinets if they could help and although they had a waiting list, they arranged for one of their fitters to fit our kitchen as and when he had a spare day or two over a few weeks. The result was absolutely brilliant, the units are of such high quality and the fitter a true professional in every way.We were so impressed with the kitchen that we asked them to supply and this time, fit two of our bedrooms. From choosing the units, to design and fitting, the service was excellent. Once again, the bedroom units are of extremely high quality (probably one of the best I have seen), and the fitting, again carried out by an absolute professional.
