In August 2023, we paid over £7000 up front to B&Q for our bathroom to be fitted. It's now March 2024 and we still have no bathroom and no refund.Work began at the beginning of October 2023 and stopped 2 days after beginning as their fitter pulled a wire form our attic, the main lighting supply for our house. We then had to get a full rewire. Work was meant to restart at beginning of November but it did not. B&Q did not return our calls and we had to physically go in to raise a complaint. The fitter wasEd from the job and the following week, B&Q sent 5 people to our home, including an electrician and bathroom fitter and a manager, to review the disgraceful state of everything and I was told that work could begin the next morning with these fitters. This did not happen and instead 3 days later after again chasing things up with B&Q I was told that the regional manager wanted to come to my home in 2 hours, I had to leave work to facilitate this.During this visit we were told that B&Q would not apologise for anything that had happened and there was no way we would have a completed bathroom before Christmas.Instead they arranged a fitter to come to our home to put in a temporary bath, a basin and some lino on the floor. We were advised that in January, this same fitter would fit our bathroom. At this point we had spent 9 weeks without any washing facilities, having to use a gym to shower. We had a toilet only.January came, B&Q emailed to say they would not do the work as there were structural things that needed to be done that had been missed on the original survey for the job in August 2023.The pallet of tiles is still sitting in our driveway as we have no where to store it. All the units and building materials are scattered throughout our small home. Our bedroom still has a door sized hole in the wall where their fitter removed the back of the shower. Our bedroom and bathroom is separated by a sheet. The loft access that was removed is directly above the temporary bath they put in and the damaged plaster from this regularly falls into the bath.In order for them to give us a full refund and consider any form of compensation we had to compile all the evidence and receipts. We provided this on the 12th of February and 4 weeks later we have still not had a reply other than to say they are looking into it.It's currently the 10th of March, we still have not had a refund for our monies, any compensation and still are using the temporary bathroom facilities. Our home was completely destroyed. We still have not got a bathroom. For a multinational company this is a disgrace. They have been rude, unhelpful and their customer service is deplorable. The entire experience has negatively impacted our mental and physical health.5 months since the beginning of work, we are without the monies we paid them (over 7 grand) and we still have no bathroom and they have still not resolved this issue.

Went in for collection just before closing , as I walked towards the pick up point , 2 staff (young with head sets ) looked at me , and carried on talking while slowly walking away , half way down the isle to continue there chat , then after waiting some Odd older man with glasses came Over with a face like he wanted to kill , then she yelled at another staff member to come and assist me, the lady was perfect , the other staff members clearly didn't care , 0 customer service , lucky it only allows 1 stars , as it should be 0

Terrible customer service. I had a paint colour mixed and was trying to choose between semi sheen and Matt finish. The attendant neglected to mention the matt finish paint (that SHE suggested was the premium version) £40 per 2.5l can and they wouldn't let me return it at all. The least you can do is make customers aware there is a price difference before mixing the paint or making a decision.

I would like to applaud this store on there excellent customer service, ty the duty manager is absolutely brilliant at his job, he helped me with an order I made online that had a few issues, he?s super friendly and knows how customers should be treated, he was very efficient and informative all the way along, emailing me and calling me when I was expecting! Absolutely 10/10Also a special mention to John in the wood area of the store he?s a really knowledgeable guy who goes out of his way to help, I have felt with him a few times and absolutely applaude his customer service.I would also like to recognise how well kept the store is it?s impeccably run and maintained

I have been in lots of b&q in my life but this one so far wins reward ?attitude of the year?. We were trying to get a refund for a shower tap as our grandpa didn?t like it. It was fully working and never used in the box we got it from. Now the manager-middle age women, dark hair was saying that cooper was missing! Since when do you sell taps with cooper included? We were trying to explain her that it was not included and it even say on the box however she wasn?t having any of it. You should start recording your staff as it?s customer service stand up comedy ?. We went to Stockport branch and they didn?t had any issue with accepting our return with friendly attitude. We are constantly using b&q and never been treated that way before. You need to train staff in this branch as they don?t know how to provide professional customer service.I?m disgustedly with the way we were treated? We won?t be coming back to this branch for sure?

On 14th November we returned an inside door as ordered wrong size! Ty the Deputy Manager was very understanding and helpful in making this a painless task and refunded us the full amount. We had already purchased a smaller door from their B&Q store a couple of days earlier. Thank you Ty for your professionalism.

Normally a good store, but completely embarrassed by the attitude of a busybody till worker. She was rude and snappy to several people and decided to pick on me for daring to take a short amount of time getting to my wallet after helping someone else pick wood out of the junk "donation to charity" pile. They walked out without paying a donation and she shouted out loud "it's not free" to me, when I hadn't got to my wallet yet, presumably because I looked like a soft target. Will avoid bothering shopping here in future.
