Long queue 20 minute wait. One cashier serving customers. Paying in machine out of order so had to join a long queue and wait to pay a cheque in.

Poor customer service. Completely understand why this branch is closing down none of staff seem to have customer service skills and multiple walking around with coats on drinking drinks whilst ignoring queues of customers. Went in with a simple query was told by a member of staff in her coat to come back tomorrow as if everyone is free every day of the week to keep going to the bank. AVOID and good riddance.

Firstly I am glad that there is an open Barclays on High Street which seems to be more & more a luxury thing as they keep closing the branches down.In Beckenham they had many, new self service machines I was always quick to go in & leave. Since they closed that branch I have to come here. There is only 1 self service machine to pay in money. I find it ridiculous because there is always the queue to that, sometimes 5-6 people. They should have moved some of the Beckenham machines to here. There is an empty office space just on the right side opposite to the machine here.Generally the whole branch is outdated, old fashioned i feel like walking into to 80's except the self service.

My mother went into the bank today at approx 2.50pm to transfer some funds but the money never reached the receiver, my mother is devastated as it was from her savings she showed the bank clerk the details of the account the funds needed to be transferred to, i can only assume the bank clerk miss typed a number and the money has gone to someone else, i hope this will be rectified by the bank as it was not my mothers fault.

Long queue so beware and after 2pm the counter service closes so you have to use the self service machines. So another brillant idea by the management of barclays.

Wish I'd read the reviews beforehand, absolutely useless branch. Despite being a customer for 40 years need to verify identity in branch yet no one in branch available or knows how to do it. Thank god most modern banks can verify online these days, makes you wonder how Barclays survive as everything about them is dated.

Tellers stop working at 2pm, leaving only the self service machines, with no one to help. When I go into a bank I expect to be able to get service from a teller, not a machine.

Received first class service from West Wickham branch yesterday. My mother and I was seen on time and we left having all business sorted out. All staff were welcoming and professional. Special thanks to Harriet and Toni.

I have just walked out of the Westwickham branch of Barclays absolutely disgusted at the service I received they actually don?t even deserve one star . Was told I couldn?t pay my money in for breast cancer now at the counter as they were closing it , a gentleman came in behind me and joined the line to use the counter so I walked through to also join the line only to be shouted at by an older lady with long blond hair which was embarrassing and upsetting no customer service skills what so ever .I then spoke to a small Asian lady and explained I had coins that obviously you are unable to put in through the machine and that the gentleman had joined the line after me and she said no he didn?t ! I was made to feel that I was a liar she then proceeded to say oh well you will have to come back tomorrow!!! Very rude I have never been treated like that in all my life I will never use this branch again.Barclays you seriously need to retrain your staff

Dreadful branch!Staff have been cut to the bare bones here. How Barclays have the temerity to call themselves a bank is beyond me.Long wait always. Asked for an appointment to see a member of the team, told four weeks wait.They can't even order a bank card.Don?t bank with BarclaysLeave them.

Awful branch - had to queue over half an hour to close an account following a relatives death, only to be told to make an appointment - earliest being in 6 weeks time. Nat West and Lloyds dealt with the matter more efficiently.

Disgraceful slow service. Only one desk open and a queue inside back out to the front of the building....Freezing cold and raining too. Why only one desk open.....? Even with COVID restrictions you could have at least two positions open..

I felt like an invalid in there after being marched to a machine to deposit my cheque. I requested to be dealt with by a human being over the counter, the old fashioned way but my fault for not making myself clear. I was only there because the app that I wasted my time downloading would not allow me to deposit a cheque, because I didnt have a current or debit account. And so I reminded why I dread coming to a live barclays branch. I did make it known that I was interested in upgrading my account to one that works on the app, but I knew that was not going to happen today, seeing as the lady that ushered me to paying in machine was focused on actioning the queue behind me. Can't wait to not return again.

Hello there I just wanted to say a big thanks for all of the team at this branch my son finds it easier to use here as his branch in Addiscombe closed down a few years ago it would probably be a lot easier and quicker to use a Croydon branch but he thinks the service here is much better they have all worked very hard all through the time he's been coming especially in the last 18 months during the covid crisis some people just seem to think that it's only Dr's and Nurse's who are on the frontline but it really isn't anyone and everyone who opened there store or business to help others at this terrible time and risked there own to help others who would be lost and scared and left in worry without certain services all deserve our utmost respect and this team was definitely one of those who braved the situation and came into work to help make sure that there customers had all the best help they needed and being the father of one of those customers who needed help me and our family say a massive thanks for all your help we all really appreciate all you've done not just for our family but for everyoneAll the best and again thank youDave Miller
