I have problem with using Royal Mail special delivery in this brachThe others will handle my delivery and exacted guarantee next say before 1pmBut I came here locally twice to post my documents and used special delivery next day , they both came in 2 days with tracking ref, not next day like I put my hope in and so I never use this branch for sending important things again in my life ever! Both time I did claim a refund for special service

This is my local post office, but I?ll use a different branch in future. The man who served me made several racist remarks.

Being a hotel snob, I tend toward Bonvoy?s luxury brands, like St Regis or Edition. Do NOT mistake this for a typical Marriott?it?s as lovely and luxurious as a hotel with a much fancier pedigree and much higher price. We were in hotel heaven. My titanium status was warmly acknowledged and my suite award certificate was honored (that almost never happens these days), with an upgrade on top of that. The Somerset Suite we enjoyed (using Bonvoy points no less!) looked out at the Marble Arch, with the tube stop of the same name half a block away. The common areas as well as the room were beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. Some hotels look kind of beat-up but this one looks as if it were brand new and is spotlessly clean. I appreciated the full tea (with separate kettle) and Nespresso setup that included lots of little goodies. The staff is extremely friendly and professional?I can tell the management of this property is obsessed with hospitality. You can?t walk more than ten feet without being greeted with a big smile and a warm hello. If you have Bonvoy status or can get a room that comes with access to the executive suite, don?t miss that aspect of the hotel. What was referred to as a ?continental breakfast? was actually a full breakfast buffet, complete with hot egg dishes and all the usual sides plus yogurts, pastries, and fruit galore. You?d easily pay fifty pounds per person for what we enjoyed in this gorgeous room every morning of our stay. They serve breakfast until 11am, which allowed us to sleep in when we liked. I can?t rave enough about the location, which is within walking distance of amazing shopping?Selfridge?s is two blocks away. Incredible dining is also within steps. We dined at Michelin-started KOL as well as a fun pub called Grazing Goat. What a treat to be home in minutes on foot. Attractions like Westminster Abbey are a walkable distance or short tube/taxi ride away. Mayfair is a fabulous neighborhood for almost anything a visitor could want. There are many fabulous luxury hotels within a few blocks of this one, including a JW Marriott, but I?m so glad I went by the reviews instead of snob appeal. This is a very, very special hotel and you will not be disappointed.

There are few locations in Mayfair that a combination of value and function and style. There is one location that I now trust. The one item to adjust is the bar moves a bit slow at times. Otherwise it?s wonderful and has a great group of staff. Go stay!

Yep. Top tier - from the staff to the rooms to the amenities - all 5 star. The executive lounge is (IMHO) much better, nicer, more elegant, and better served than the Grosvenor House. The rooms are elegant and well appointed, and larger than other marriotts in London. The restaurant is very good for breakfast, but poor for dinner - it is the only place I would give 4 stars in the hotel. That said, the bar is excellent and Evi is a delight as a server and bartender. The mistake I made was not finding the pool and steam room earlier. The gym is well equipped and the pool plus steam room is a great combination. Yes, it is an expensive hotel, but there is great value in their pricing. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for 7 days (6nights). When we arrive to the check in desk they warmly welcomed us and offer some drinks and chocolates while cheking in. We received our room after 2:30pm. However, rooms are newly furnished and equiped with all the essensial aminities. Bathroom is clean and nice. The only thing which was annoing is the fridge as its not cold at all and when we comtact them they said its not a fridge so it wont be colder. Moreover the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have booked 2 rooms at Marriott Park Lane, visiting London with my family like every year, my parents have always loved to stay at the MPL, however we have all agreed that the standard got really bad, there was a leakage at my parents room, it took them 2 days to fix the problem, and shower trap was clogged with dirt, again the maintenance team had to visit the room twice over two days to have it fixed. My room had really bad smell day 1, and it always take couple of attempts to open my door as it gets jammed. I did report the problems to higher management, they replied instantly making me think I was mistaken of how I have judged them, but very soon later I found out that I was right when they sent me cute letter saying how sorry they are hehe -, - (Letter Attached) I am afraid MPL is no longer in my hotel's list for my upcoming trips to London, also if someone really insist to stay at one of the Marriott hotels there are some other hotels with great location. MPL offers some nice services, but it would be unfair to categories it as 5 star hotel as the competition in London is really high.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the hotel has a lot to offer. There is a great fitness centre in the basement. The staff from your first greeting to your last are very friendly and attentive. The close proximity to Oxford Street, Mayfair and Hyde Park is brilliant if you want to shop or go for a stroll. The executive lounge is amazing offering a great breakfast, afternoon tea and a great selection at happy hour in the evenings. Love this hotel and will be back.

Rude staff, slow service, avoid if you can

I was ready to walk out of this hotel at check-in but Chiara completely changed the trajectory of my stay. She single-handily made the whole stay and experience worth it with some pragmatism for a laundry issue. The positives: - perfect location - bright, renovated rooms - marriott Bonvoy lounge is very clean and nice relative to others worldwide The negatives: - no in house laundry so it takes 24 hours even for ironing - the gym is functional but quite small

Wonderful convenient hotel. Fantastic location in Mayfair, right beside the Marble Arch Tube station and across the street from Hyde Park. Excellent beds comfort and pillows. Best service and helpful staff we have experienced for many years. Nice executive lounge for Breakfast, although not overly comprehensive. On the ?cons? side, the rooms are quite small with an inconsistent electrical supply-there is one outlet for N. American appliances, and the other outlets wouldn?t work with the standard converter we used successfully in prior and subsequent trips to Spain and Italy. I think it is the older hotel electrical supply that rendered our converter inoperable since it did work in Spain and Italy. We would stay at the Marriott Park Lane again, we had a very enjoyable stay.

I used a ton of Marriott Bonvoy points to stay here, and it was worth it. The hotel won't win any points on style - both the public areas and the rooms are about as generic as they come. But they get the important stuff right. My room was dead quiet, with no noise from the street or from other guests; the blackout curtains were effective; the bed comfortable; the staff uniformly friendly and helpful; and the toilet seat was heated! The location's great, too, just off Oxford Street and next to the Marble Arch tube station and Hyde Park. My one tiny quibble is that there must have been some snafu in the installation of the shower - when the shower was on, it was impossible to open the shower door without the water ricocheting off the door and flooding the bathroom floor (I think the stall door had originally been meant to open the opposite direction). But this was just a quirk, not a real problem. Overall, this hotel is a super comfortable place to stay in the heart of the city.
