When purchased initially a product from we.buy there was a little issue with the product.Approach the issue with costumer support and I was approached promptly while taking into consideration the issue. Aarti from customer service was very helpful and professional in trying to resolve the return process. Also the store manager at Sutton, Dean was very helpful in keeping me updated, trying options on replacing the existing and trying to accommodate needs for a new product in due course.Aarti and Dean from cex- your professional approach it has been very much appreciated!Thank you

Very unsatisfying experience waiting 30min to test my headphones so I can sell them and in the end they couldn?t pare them with their devices. Hour later I went to Cex in Morden and they were the best finish for 10 minutes.

Avoid! Absolute con artists offer you peanuts on your item and sell for 100s more! Also, if you don't sell to them, they try to ruin your packaging The item came in, so you can't sell it for more. Scumbags!

Never had a bad experience from here before. Partner bought me a ps2 for Christmas, controller doesn?t work. Went back today at 5pm as it said online that the store is open till 5:30, staff member at the door refusing to let me in to exchange the controller. Other customers in the store having a very leisurely look around and yet still I wasn?t allowed in 30 minutes prior to closing time.

The staff is very nice and polite however I have had two very bad experiences with them in the last month or so.Firstly I took a phone that I bought the night before from another place , a standard headset, not a smart phone that I needed while my actual phone was getting its screen replaced. Ended up not using that phone and took it to sell it to cex as they were offering a similar price to what I would have gotten if I returned the shop I bought it from which was further away. So I left the phone there, with protective film on, still in box, not used, brand new phone. I come back to be told that the phone failed the test as when asking to be reset it demands a code and the manufacturer of the phone only had a Dutch website. Not true regarding the website as i found the actual website in english, I don't know why they would have to reset a SEALED phone but fine, let's say that is their policy. No problem. So they gave me the phone back. Not only had they gotten rid of everything it came with, they had also remoted the protective film so now the phone was no longer in a condition in which i could have returned it to the shop i brought it from. If it was just opened and tested, fine, but they got rid of the box, of the other accessories such as headphones, phone sleeve, instructions booklet and box and of the protective film and just gave me the phone back with a charger that wasn't even the one i left it there with. The charger they gave me was not a new one and had clearly been used a lot. In such a condition I could not return the phone to where i brought it from. I asked the staff for the items and as the person who served me first had finished their shift, they had no idea where my other stuff was. One member looked in the bin and gave me the phone sleeve back but couldn't find the rest. Quite shocking service regardless of pleasant and polite the staff are. Then second issue arose when I took some speakers there. Everything was fine when I took them there, I double checked their condition myself as they were heavy and there would be no point to take something there that would fail the test. They failed the test on the basis that ' one of the speakers had a bent on it'. I asked the staff member who served me to show me where was the bent but he could not show it to me, he was absolutely lovely but there was no actual physical damage to the speaker so he could not point to one but he was rather hasty and dissmisive and he said that that is was what the tester had said and he could not over rule the tester. I did not make a fuss and i did not think much of it I said oh ok maybe the tester made a mistake, it happens. I took them to another cex and there they told me and showed me that the plug had two of the pints bent. Cex Sutton damaged the plug which was fine when i took it there as it is something I 100% checked. I should have taken photos of it, I didn't think to do that as I have sold many items to cex over the years, to various branches in london and I NEVER had this issue. Nothing I can do about it now, but wanted to write it here in case management does read this and prevents stuff like this from happening in the future. I used to trust cex for their good service but now I will take photos of my items before handing them in as that trust is broken. I ended up with a damanged set of speakers that are worth over £150 and are now useless.

I would give less but alas, i can not.Brought a game for gift, found out the recipient already had the game, returned to shop 7 DAYS later!Asked for refund (£12.50) to be told "Sorry you only get 2 days for an exchange " although i wasn't asking for an exchange a refund is what i wanted. THIS IS NOT STATED ON YOUR RECEIPT. I then had to settle for selling the game back to them and was granted a grand total of £6 in vouchers. WOW, JUST WOW. my advice is if you want a refund on an item brought from CeX dont bother, sell it on line, at least you will get an honest price. My advice to CeX is maybe instead of having information about EXCHANGES NOT REFUNDS on the checkouts have them PRINTED ON THE RECEIPT.Oh yeah the staff really don't seem to know what their own policies are, well apart from a shirty woman who tapped on the counter to point out the exchange policy...which i counted with the receipt having no evidence of it on there. She then dissappeared quite rapidly once i had pointed that out. Will avoid CeX from now on

A long waiting time and then had to go back several times until they were able to deal with my request.

CEX do not buy items at the prices that they advertise, they use excuses like "we have to many of these at the moment" and try to use explanations that do not appear on their website.

Leave customers when there's no queue standing at the counter whilst the staff chat and mess about on the computers and incorrectly grade items as B with excessive damage and dirt all over them wasting peoples time who travel in to buy goods. Time wasters!!

Cex,don't bother if you have second hand dvds etc.youll need a carrier bag full to get a fiver. They will pay you as low as possible for your goods ,but you should be aware of that before entry. You can't rely on the quality of goods as I've had several arguments with staff over different items. It's a business, and they will pay as less as they can to get a profit. They don't do cash back on a return, just a store credit note .so be aware of that before buying anything. The aim is get that money out of your hand and into their till. And be glad you've been given a credit note. This is today's policy. Best of luck.

Kept being knocked down in price almost £100 lower then what was estimated on website for a phone which was in really good condition, and as for customer service that was non existent the guy serving me had a right attitude felt like I was being served by a stroppy teenager, I will never go back to that shop again I?ve always used Morden branch , it?s was just convenience of location on that day and what a waste of time.

Friendly staff and happy to help.Good range of stock to suit most gaming needs. Vintage games to brand new, consoles, laptops, etc.Gave 4 stars because of the price, particularly on games, some are the same as if you were to buy new. I'm in favour of buying secondhand, but they need to reevaluate their prices or they won't sell. Even £5 below current rrp would attract potential buyers.

I bought a laptop saying on the display that its having ssd 256, but when i opened at home it was only 128gb . I had to return again to this store and its really frustrating that they are selling wrong items , also asking me to sign policy waiting etc. I will not recommend this store
