I was served by Jan in your Sutton Branch. This cashier was extremely rude, lazy and no professional at all. There was nobody in the que so when I riched the counter I greeted her politely and she said to waith few seconds on which one I replied that it's ok .She was tyding her counter and sorting some money and I said that organisation is key for success. Then she turned arround and told me that I should use the machines as apparently the counter is only for bussines customers ????!!!I told her that I always been served on the same counter by her colleagues and she should serve me as it's not busy ,and if I wanted to use the machines I would of gone there I am not machine customer I always been served by human as I am making mistakes on the machines. She was so rude and clearly she didn't want to serve me for her own reasons, not sure how did she observed me or discriminated me or simply she was lazy just sending customers to use the machines instead .I don't recommend this bank to noone with this horrible experience as Jan clearly can't work in customer service she should get a job in another sector where she should not be dealing with people she should work with animals or clean toilets. This is horrible experience that nobody deserves to experience indeed.

A main bank closing down branches that are easily accessible for the disabled and elderly!! My poor 72 year old grandad was desperate to go to the bank and the closest one to him closed down now has to go into the main one in town with no accessibility whatsoever for people who can't walk far. Sad way the world is going and the fact you choose the easier accessible ones to close. I have had him leave barclays and go to nationwide as last time he had to walk half a mile to nearest parking (and that was disabled) even ones further away are not accessible. If you decide to close down branches to save money at least make them accessible!

Good staffing today which is what customers want!!! Paula has always been welcoming & helpful. My rogue DD query was resolved quickly & Anne then helped me print out a statement to check this months debits. It makes a huge difference to have helpful staff when needed & a great comfort when worried about accounts....Not everyone wants to deal with Apps, online banking & web info & banks must address this. Well done today with branch help xx

Shiela saw me waiting and asked what she could do to help after I had already been told to wait in line. As I only had a small issue she helped me instantly and was lovely to talk to and very helpful

The skill of the staff is incompetent especially in dealing with the APP software. They tried 3 times and used 6 hours including waiting and identification check and the APP problem still can?t solve

Not enough staff to help everyone, always broken down machines and there's a few rude women who work there.

Barclays is one of UKs largest banks . The service however is very poor. Barclays shut the wallington branch where the service was attentive and superb, now we have the sutton branch which just cannot cope with the footfall. Barclays you need to instigate a customer service rescue plan! It's just hopeless and your staff invariably get engaged elsewhere whilst talking to the customer.

Five stars to Maggie and her colleagues for helping me regain the will to live this morning after a long wait because of a faulty machine on the only counter, thanks Maggie for being so helpful and sympathetic!

Please have someone look at your building alarm. It?s been going off all day and it?s close to midnight and it?s still blaring. Have a 20 minute cut off or leave a number for the manager to be contacted to shut it off.

Best avoided but if you do absolutely have to go in to do a basic admin task with them, make sure you take a change of clothes, a toothbrush, some snacks and a few good books. You will be waiting a very long time to see anyone.

Went to open an account online, couldn't get through the ID part so went to the branch to ne Met by a disinterested lady at the meet and greet table. Told me we might be able to help or maybe not. And appointments aren't til June. So I yold her there are plenty of banks along the High Street and i left. The attitude of this lady was the main reason I left the branch. Friday afternoon 3pm. I went to Lloyd's bank where they were really helpful, opened the account and took a large cash deposit.

Although the two ladies on reception were a little assertive they were very helpful. The other member of staff we dealt with today was efficient and charming and showed compassion in our grief.
