Jackson's Art do not make it very difficult for you to leave reviews on products that you purchase from them. Because it's an open process I would feel very comfortable taking advice from any reviews on their site.Thanks for the reply and I accept the comments. In fact you can make your own customer reviews on their site. I have ammended my previous review accordingly.

Good store. Fairly small store, so doesn't stock the full range of everything available online, but does have a little bit of every section. Quite good stock of oil paints from various brands. Staff were friendly and helpful when I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Delightful store located upstairs. Not visibly wheelchair accessible.Great customer service. Called ahead to check stock and they put it aside. Reasonable pricing and shall return.

I ordered 10 sheets of Daler Rowney mount board. The delivery was made yesterday by ParcelForce and I can't remember ever seeing more damaged cardboard packaging. It was so torn that I could see that the inner packaging seemed to have protected the boards and I accepted the parcel. There is some slight damage to the boards but I can easily work around that. The driver said that that was how he had picked up the parcel. I can't believe that it had left Jackson's in such poor condition so you might want to consider how ParcelForce are treating your merchandise.

I haven?t used these mount vision pastels yet, however, 14 out of the 25 pastel sticks were broken. The packaging is in a flimsy cardboard box, and Jackson Art could have wrapped these in bubble wrap instead of brown paper. Since most of them broke in an ideal size, I would have returned these and purchased from another art supply company. Delivery was quick but Jackson Art can do a better job when shipping fragile products.

Superb place to buy Art materials from. Really polite staff to talk to and nothing is too much trouble for them, I've often been in doubt about certain materials to use and buy but always get the best advice off them before I buy. Bought much off Jackson's Art in the past and always recieved promptly by Courier.I'll definitely be buying much more off them in the future. 5****

I'd like to say up front that this is a store I really appreciate and enjoy, the below is a record of a single problematic experience that has since been resolved.Update:A new customer service representative from Jackson's reached out to me offering a refund of the affected tubes. This is very much appreciated, the experience was still overall less than ideal but much improved.OriginalReview for online store only - not brick and mortar store.Up until recently I loved this store, I've spent thousands of dollars with them. In my latest purchase 2 of the paint tubes I ordered had large bubbles in them and were missing lots of paint, I wrote support about this and have NEVER had a worse customer service experience. In sequence the customer service:1. Asked for pictures.2. Upon receiving pictures claimed that is was intentional and as intended for safe shipping (cause 2/5 colors needed to be less filled, that makes total sense).3. Upon receiving more comparison photos offered 10% off (these tubes were missing 1/3 of their paint).4. Refused my request to return/replace the affected tubes.5. Took 3 days to reply (this was over a weekend) after this then offered 10% going forward instead so I could order 5ml tubes (which doesn't come close to making buying these smaller tubes worthwhile to make up for the missing paint).In conclusion, great products when they are okay, iffy support.

Best art supplies shop across the pond. I live in Canada and you can't beat Jackson's when it comes to shipping. Reasonable rates, prices can be viewed in my own currency for ease of shopping, most prices are VERY competitive. I have ordered several times and always received well packaged items to ensure safety of all items shipped (I have ordered sheets of paper, soft pastels and pastel pencils). All of my items got here in perfect condition and within reasonable delays. Fantastic place. If you live in Canada, you must consider them as your art supplies shop. Thanks Jackson's!
