I encountered a member of staff who refused to sell alcohol product. (I think they have some ?sensitivity? about this). Despite being a 34-year-old frequent customer, I was denied the sell of alcohol and asked for my ID physically. I bought this kind of stuff million times without asking for an ID by the same staff. Later I decided to try another till. When I attempted to purchase from another till, that staff member alerted these staff not to sell to me. Instead of doing the job, spying on a customer is not acceptable. Furthermore, this inconsistency prompts the need for Asda to review its staffing policies. It's puzzling for a company not to want to make a profit due to employee actions.

An online delivery says ?delivered? yet nothing has been delivered. The refund option is available but I guess the drivers can easily mark it as delivered without doing so because they know that the customer can get a refund. What kind of driver marks the order as delivered anyways when they actually haven?t done so?

Parked on underground car park when I visited. Entrance and exit not that tight for a larger suv which is good. The parking spaces themselves were just about ok although many have a killer or something sticking out which reduces somewhat the available space.Asda upstairs is a normal asda :)

Visited on 26/2/24 Ladies toilets were completely out of order, disabled toilet was out of order. Forced to use the Gents, absolutely disgusting in there. It stank of stale urine, the floor was literally yellow and sticky. And even the sinks were inaccessible as they also appeared to be out of order. You'd imagine with only one set of toilets in use, they might be able to at least keep them clean. But no... Gross. Won't be coming back to this store.

Went to Asda Southgate this evening. Security man stopped me upon exit. I asked him why I was I getting stopped. He said "you have an attitude". Told him I can't just be stopped amongst all shoppers for no reason and expect me not to ask why I got stopped and at the same time be happy about it. I said I needed to know why. He goes to say " I have stopped you before". I was like so you are keeping an eye on me every time I shop in here? He then said I had too many items in my shopping trolley? I thought Asda would be happy to see this everyday of the year. Manager came and said she instruct her security to stop everyone with a full trolley. Told her I am not happy having her security stopping me for the second time and because I have a full trolley. I felt victimised and stereotyped. She said if I am not happy I should go and shop somewhere else. Terrible security guard and an arrogant not useful manager. Just been reading reviews and I am not surprised security personnel has been mentioned more times than the sun rises in 12 months.

I constantly get asked to fill in surveys by ASDA asking how likely I am to recommend their store. I just wonder why they ask? The customer service at this store is simply disappointing. Today Maria at the customer service point had a serious attitude interfering and being so loud as well as rude even though I clearly asked for a Manager. It was not her place to interfere but to ask for one to come and for the trained Manager who ended up being very well spoken as well as appeasing to handle the situation/complaint. Maria used language like can I speak, can I finish, are you going to listen to me, who does this individual think she is and that to in front of clients, she thought she could threaten me so I told her not to do the refund, took her by surprise, she then threaten me she will have me removed, I told her to her face do it, she clear got her pride dented so called the security guard who was sensible enough to send her nonsense so did not remove me but asked me to wait to the side and called a Manager who was very professional. If Maria has even 1% of his professional qualities I would have been happy with her but she thinks she can threaten and kick a client around, she needs to reflect on her poor conduct!Asda needs to stop sending me pointless survey but to retrain or remove bad apples like Maria, her attitude/standard bring the brand into disrepute!

Big supermarket with lots of choice! From groceries, hot food, street food, clothes, games/toys, a small pharmacy and a keys cutting kiosk outside.

Today, at around 7pm, I went to buy Redbull and a notebook for my daughter. After buying it, I stood in line in the cigarette section. I saw Asda's security guard coming towards me. He came up to me and asked me loudly, "Do you have a receipt for the things you bought?" I said, "Why am I a bad person? He said, "I look like thieves." Yes, you look like thieves. I have been shopping at Asda for about 3 years. It was hard for him to call me a thief, and I told him that I wanted to talk to the manager. At first, the manager spoke politely, and then he became aggressive towards me. What I want to say here are his own employeesIt is not good behavior to suddenly tell customers who have been coming for years that they look like thieves in front of everyone. I am lucky again, I did not have my children with me. If they had been with me, their psychology would have been disturbed. Being accused of theft at a young age will affect their psychology in the futureIt would affect me. I have been living in England for 20 years. This is the first time something like this has happened to me. I am very hurt and sad. I will not go to Asda anymore. If I go, I will remember what I went through when I see that security guard, because it is an unsafe place for me. If I go again, if my children are with meI am sure that I will experience the same thing again. I am 40 years old and I do not want to experience such a situation again

I came here two days ago to pick up a few parcels and the gentleman that helped me was very friendly. I didn't catch his name but he was wearing a black jacket with security written on it! Thank you!No problems picking them up and I managed to get what I needed. Good experience. I used to come here every week a few years back so this was the first time I've been back in awhile. It was a pleasant experience even this close to Christmas.
