Large Matalan with plenty of parking. They have a large floorspace so the variety and selection of goods available is really good.

Poor service.I regularly spend A LOT of money there. Accidentally lost my receipt, just needed to exchange a jacket for a different size (the jacket still had tags on). They refused to exchange it. Then told me to come back with 'proof of purchase' which meant I would've had to go home and print off a credit card bill- how does that prove its the jacket on there? No one seemed to care that I spend money there, no care for customer service.Ended up refunding £104 as they refused to exchange a £32 jacket. Last week I spent £333 and the week before, it was £175 (online). I told them I'd be refunding all these items.... they didn't care! I will not go back there.

This is honestly the best place to get a thick stylish winter jacket.You need to look for the offers in the sale section or on the sale rail. I bought 2 winter jackets,I just been preparing for the winter and the two or three jackets I bought in Matalan are still top of my list (and I been on numerous other retailers)

Lots of stuff at easy pricing. 4 hours free Parking on top of it.This is a massive retail park with lots of different businesses, the only thing missing is a cafe/ restaurant

I love Matalan and go to this store all the time. Shelves are usually fully stocked and you can almost always find what you're looking for. Staff are generally friendly and happy to help but some can be really slow at the tills. This is only bothering me since they have started the self service checkouts, so now there is usually only one person serving at a till which is the only place to do exchanges and refunds and so the wait time is about 8-15 minutes on average with 3-5 customers waiting before me.

Service tills were okay and didn't have massive ques. Clothes were neatly stocked.Not much else to say. What you would expect really. Plenty of parking.

No wonder shops are going bust. Not exactly a busy time of day when I visited but only 2 very slow checkout staff with another member directing people which till to go to. Big queue waiting to pay. Hopeless.
