I was informed that HSBC was no longer able to provide the service I required and was sent to the Post Office over the road. I have since discovered that all other HSBC branches still provide this service so I struggle to believe that the Richmond branch no longer does.

When Barclays over the road?s ATM kept my money, HSBC were far more helpful and managed to return it. (Barclays refused to have anything to do with their ATM not working!)

At least 4 members of staff but no counter so they can?t do anything!? What is the point even having a branch if you have to travel an hour for any banking services?

I had a great visit today (I needed to get my internet pin code reset and a new OTP device).Staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful and answered all my questions and helped me setup a secondary savings account on the spot too. In and out in 15-20mins

Absolutely appalling service! Waited over 10 minutes before one of the staff appeared from behind a locked door and was then completely ignored in favour of two other customers who had just wandered in. If HSBC cared they would ensure staff understood the importance of good customer service... but they obviously don't care! May as well close the branch and have done with it!

Absolutely horrible horrible treatment.An agent named SIMA she did now allow for me to translate for my friend over the phone like i always do! My friend was at the branch with all relevant documents but because her English is not that fluent to solve her problems and at many HSBC branches or over the phone we were able to work this way, i help her with interpreting.SIMA started telling me that I have to come to the Branch in Richmond- what kind of unnecessary and unreasonable request is that? We have never been asked to do that by HSBC at any time before - why was she so rude to me over the phone because I couldn?t be there and I?m not even the card holder. Then she just left the phone and my friend there without solving anything in the branch.Disgusting behaviour!! HSBC has a good reputation but agents like will ruin it i am telling you! Both my friends are Premier Members at HSBC and do not deserve to be treated this way.

My mom went to withdraw money to this branch and received 20 pound short. We have contacted the bank on the chat as the branch was close thinking they would for sure found the error on the Atm. They told me they would refund and investigate, now after one month they said there was not error. Still we were given 20 pound short. Will move her account to barclays. AVOID THIS COMPANY

After a delayed wait time to see the manager, the staff went out of their way to get our visit back on track, direct mailed us documents so we wouldn?t have to wait longer and even sent a very thoughtful apology gift right to our home. This branch has made me much more confident in my choice to bank with them.
