My elderly Dad is a regular customer at this store, and most of the time he?s received great customer service.But twice now there have been instances where they have blatantly tried to rip him off.Around a year ago my Dad took in an Xbox to sell, which I?d never used for anything other than watching streaming services prior to buying a smart TV. The guy tried to mark down the price, claiming there was an issue with the control - which was absolute rubbish. My Dad ended up taking it elsewhere and getting a fairer price.But just today, my Dad visited CeX to purchase a game and use some of the balance on his Exchange Credit Voucher - of which he still has over £100. The guy told my Dad there was no credit left and he must have spent it. My Dad didn?t have the receipts from the exchange, and purchase he?d made using the voucher on him, so he left. But he?s found the receipts at home and will be returning to the store tomorrow.I?m going to wait and see what the outcome is before taking further action. But be warned - it?s my belief that some (not all) of the staff working here are either incompetent or dishonest.

This is a great branch IF you visit on weekdays, the weekend manager is a right tool & the staff will happily ignore you. But the weekday manager is a really great guy and the weekday team are honest, enthusiastic, provide fantastic service and genuinely want to help you out. Just never go there on a weekend!

Twice now the store has marked an item as not being available for Click and Collect as staff cant find it and its been clearly on display.The first item was KING OF FIGHTERS 00/01 where they said they cant find it. Went there and found it on the shelf under K in PS2 (exactly where it should be!) Bought it and mentioned it took me two secs to find it.Second item. PERSONA 5 ROYAL for the PS4. Again, we can't find it. It was right behind them on the shelf as it was a steelbook. Went to counter and said, "you've cancelled this order cause you can't find the item, but its right behind you on the shelf..."When raising a complaint the store disputes it and says a customer must have picked up the item and moved it to a different section! So how a customer came behind the counter and put it up behind the tills I wouldn't begin to imagine. Maybe they can throw very well and stuck it right on the shelf perfectly.I no longer have faith in this store and will not visit again.

I came to CEX in Peckham recently to buy a new phone. I came away with a fantastic phone thanks to the help of one of the very helpful and knowledgeable shop assistants. As I don't know about phones, he went through multiple phones with me until finding me the one perfect for what I needed it for. I also didn't feel like I was being upsold to. I couldn't recommend this store more for buying second hand phones.

The difference between buying and selling is big. So expect not to be paid that much for your stuff.

Terrible customer service. There were three guys working today and only one of them bothered to go on the till, despite a queue of 20 people. I gave up in the end - will buy what i want for the same price (but new) on amazon.

Customer customer service is a disgrace,from their supervisorhe tries to blame the company system constantly trying to argue with me..Felt like the guy didn't wanna sell the product wanted to buy an I macThere is keyboard and mouse. The guide doesn't want to give me the correct ones.Hegiving me a Dell one.

Terrible customer service. Stressful experience. When a customer is scammed in an online order and wants to return the order via local store , all the customer gets is absolutely no helpNever ever going to buy anything from cex ever again.Might as well pay slightly more to other retailers for smooth service!

Very bad the staff are miserable and don't khow nothing and what they charge for things is beoned me you give them games dvds they give you 25p and then they have the cheek to sell it at 2p0ond I khow lots of people bringing in console and what they get is penny's but when you go back they got that console selling 60pound its s big rip off

trying to get a replacement has not been as easy as it was to buy, this is not the staff at peckhams fault but more the website and customer service issue.....
