John who is supervising the self checkout machines is great! Very helpful and friendly he is also very reactive to give you the age approval or anything else. Today he spotted that with my basket I could benefit from some free products and shared the tip with me. It's always a pleasure to see him around.

M&S foodhall, decent helpful staff. However this store is self check out only, albeit a member of staff can provide help, but still require items to be self scanned before they can help. I would avoid if disabled or have complex needs.

Incredibly disrespectful retail assistant, unfortunately I didn?t get her name. I was shopping with my mum helping her and didn?t grab a basket as we had a lot of items to carry and it would be too heavy. The retail assistant comes up to us yelling to empty out my mums cart and made me take all the items out and move it to a basket and proceeds to dump our shopping on the floor by the tills. While I understand that we can?t fill our own bags, the disrespectful tone she used was awful and made me feel so disrespected in front of others in the store. She kept making remarks insinuating that I was stealing, while I went to pay for my shopping! People who are this rude to customers shouldn?t even be working in retail. I am no thief and will definitely not be shopping here again.

Typical M&S with what you need. PLEASE TRAIN and inform your staff about the ?shop & go? app. There is a black woman who works the night shift seriously needs to be trained haha. I make it a point to always show my purchases with the app, and yet she doesn?t believe me or anyone else when they use their smart phones for purchases. Haha. She is doing her job, but lacks any connection to the 21st century technology. Training session is needed. Bless M&S.

Female staff member working here looked into my basket as I was packing (after having paid), then re-printed my receipt in front of me and started checking it line-by-line against the things I'd just bagged.I asked her what the matter was and she just walked away! Clearly she thought I was stealing. Incredibly rude service!

What does "Google Guide" mean? Is it just a random comment from someone or possibly from someone with life experience?Recently, I found myself wrongly challenged as if I hadn't paid. The challenger, stationed in the main walk-through but unable to see the till, eventually recognized her error when I presented my bank receipt for the supposedly stolen reduced tray of pineapple chunks.It seems there are issues with walkouts, tills, and potentially staff problems.Consider relocating the tills to the front of the store to create a "physical barrier" that deters theft. Your staff inside can then focus on customer service, while a door security guard handles potential issues signaled by the staff.Although it might not look as aesthetically pleasing, this adjustment could address some of the evident challenges.

I'm quite annoyed. Today I was scanning my shopping at the self service when out of the blue a lady called Monica came and asked me how many items I'd scanned and which ones. I was extremly annoyed by the way that this lady approach me. No maners, very disrespectful. No excuses or sorry at the moment she corroborated that my shopping was exactly as it supposed to be, she just said that she can't turn around as people just take things without paying all the time. Not sure if I want to go shopping in a place where the cashier insinuate that I am a shoplifter because she feels like it... Rubbish.

I will no longer go to M&S in Streatham. I really don?t like the workers there and I feel judged. There is one particular woman, I think her name is Bernie who constantly stares at me. Every time I?d go in the store she just watches me. There are other customers around but she is fixated on me for some reason. This makes me feel uncomfortable. It?s gotten so bad that I refuse to spend my money in M&S Streatham, I?d rather spend my money elsewhere.Update: I?ve had to complain to a manager at this branch about this woman. I went into the store with my sister and yet her behaviour continues. This has got to stop. Leave me alone.

I never write bad reviews, but I feel the need to share this so that others know how they?ll be treated here.I dropped my drink on the floor by accident, and staff in question looked very annoyed and proceeded to hand me the big blue roll, then walked away so that I would clean it myself. I had just finished paying as well and was walking out of the store with my partner. It was quite disappointing and a bit embarrassing, as I am sure accidents happen all the time. I also apologised for the mistake as I am sure it is frustrating, but all the staff were standing around doing nothing anyways and did not look busy in the slightest.After cleaning up the spilt drink, I was looking around with a bunch of dirty tissue trying to see if there were any bins. There was even someone walking around with a bin and mop (probably due to the store being closed soon and doing closing duties), and when my partner asked for help, they looked away and ignored us. Definitely will not be coming back to this store again, as this is how staff treat paying customers.

Terrible staff. Getting yelled at by some random shop assistant because they don?t allow putting products in your own bag. I don?t have anything against this policy but you can be polite and say that quietly. Such people shouldn?t work with customers.

It's like any normal shops. I go in there and buy things in the shop. So l'm satisfied of what l'm buying. Couldn't be happier.

Wish they put a notice so I knew where to put items after scan, as I do not have a crystall ball. Took me longer to work out so I could pay and go. Staff busy with three other customers so could not ask.

Rude staff who treat younger customers differently. The staff are why I?m so disappointed in M&S in Streatham. I wish they?d be kinder to customers :(
