Just joined this gym a week ago with my mother also and I must say so far its been a pleasurable experience! Yannic has been super helpful and attentive to all our needs throughout, even during our on baording.The gym offers a wide range of equipment to use which is great and also boast of a nice sized pool, two steam sauna rooms and offers a wide range of different classes thought the week.Super helpful staff throughout would highly recommend! *****

I went to the gym a bit anxious as I haven't been a member of one in a while but Yannic couldn't have been friendlier and gave me a tour of the full gym and answered any questions I had. Dilsson and him both spent a lot of time with me whilst signing me up and made sure I got the best deal possible. They couldn't have been lovelier and I am very excited to get started. I met Jonny too who is going to give me a complimentary PT session which will be great to ease me back into the gym. They were a super team and all my anxiety has been totally eased. Came back with my flatmate and she signed up too as they were all so great!

After joining in April, the showers have been out of service several times, each episode last a minimum of two weeks. The spin bikes have been broken for months and dispute emails they have not been fixed properly, even the instructors complain about them to the classes. On multiple occasions after arriving at 6am for spin , they have been cancelled at the last minute. The lockers in the mens charging room are hanging off their hinges and are in need of repair. The pool and sauna are too often out of service. My experience has been well below par at the gym, I have contacted their general manager and asked to leave but they will not allow as I?m on a year contract. I would NOT RECOMMEND this gym.

Great experience with Yannic, who was super welcoming, and gave a tour of the entire gym, changing rooms and equipment. I was then able to have a free trial with no pressure to commit. I signed up, downloaded the Fitness First app and Yannic explained everything .. I left with a gym membership and all questions answered. Smooth process from start to finish. Gym and changing rooms were clean. Thanks Yannic! I?ll be recommending for sure.

I?ve been a member of Fitness First for about a year and I?ve finally have decided to cancel the membership and move on to Virgin Active. From my perspective and others that I?ve spoken to, Fitness First is in a profound decline. Recently, hot showers and swimming pool were out for two weeks. It got fixed eventually, however today again, swimming pool and sauna is not working. Every time you enter the establishment, you pray to yourself that it works and that you can actually materialise your workout.It seems that the managements hands are tied or they are really unqualified. For example, frustrated, I pointed out an enormous hazard that could lead to serious injuries and the manager said that it?s not up to her and that HQ run the operations. It took them several days to rectify this. I mean, seriously?Furthermore, they brought recently ?new? equipment to the gym floor, although it is just old equipment brought in from another gym. Men?s changing rooms, lockers are mouldy and often there?s water dripping from ceiling. Only half of the hair dryers work and the water fountain is broken constantly.These are just few things I?ve picked up recently. It is clear to me that the people who are in charge of this establishments decision making, are massively lacking in gym operations knowledge/experience or they are just too money driven and could care less about their clients.How can you charge anyone £64 per month when half of the equipment never works? Honestly, PureGym which is twice as cheap, is a better gym!It?s such a shame, Fitness First is a missed opportunity.

Declining service. There are now so many machines and no space for a floor workout. Management don?t respond adequately to these concerns. Lots of broken machines and people are paying over £60 a month for something that quite frankly is worse than Pure Gym and double the price! It?s criminal. Have tried to talk in person multiple times about the gym and all the new changes without an adequate solution. Not good enough. Will be cancelling my membership as soon as I can.

Great gym, great staff, good setup and love the pool/ spa area. Would be 5 stars but every time I turn up there is something new not working, this week there?s no hot water, before that the pool needed maintenance, before that the sauna was broken and before that the pool was ice cold. I think lots of members would prefer it if they took a whole week to fix and test everything, then came back with it all working, I?m sure the staff would like to have the members stop moaning aswell

Spent a month in this gym, have to say it looks better than it actually is.Good gym floor, but not enough equipment. There's plenty of treadmills and cross-trainers, but only one leg press, and one normal bench press. Couldn't even provide two of each. Also, they've moved the equipment with the leg equipment almost scattered about the gym floor, they should've just left the layout as it was with the leg equipment grouped in one area.Gym floor is about the only good thing about this gym, ever since beginning my second week, at least one thing hasn't worked. First it's the swimming pool, then it's the changing rooms being swapped around which led to embarrassing confusion for some people, and now crucially the hot water is no longer working - going into three weeks now. Not only that but at least half the showers are taped off as out of order. Add insult to injury, Fitness First decides not to offer a discount on the back of the fact that you can't get a hot shower for three weeks at least, but instead offers access to two of their gyms in Central London - like I'm trying to go completely out of my way into the city just to go gym and have a shower afterwards.This gym only looks good, my suggestion for anyone looking for a new gym is to keep looking.

EDITED: ended up with a membership and Yannic worked with me to get the best deal possible. He was super accommodating and friendly as well as very personable and made me feel right at home! Plus found out we have a bday connection! Pisces power. ???First time there, tested out for a trial, it?s got the basics for any fitness level or routine, the floor of the gym itself is a bit on the smaller and tighter side so can?t imagine what it?s like on a busy day. The hot water was out so I wasn?t able to shower there, but the staff were super friendly.Major shout to Yannic who helped me out while I am here for a work trip.The bonus of the sauna and steam room was definitely a plus, but they did get crowded.Overall, it covers the bases for a good rate and have a great offer for 3 months right now so get on it!

Dilsson's attention is pretty good. From the moment I arrived until I left, I felt quite comfortable. He helped me with any questions and with great kindness. He even understands and speaks Spanish.

Yannic Clarke is an idiot and we dont want this council estate loser as a manager here. Jonathan Marco polo gomez isn't mexican or Spanish he is African looking loser with braids definitely has no money and is a poor loser.Some of the staff is great but they have some really bad staff here like Johnathan Gomez, this idiot thinks he is a manager when he isn't and goes out of his way to cause issues with gym members. The manager Yannick isn't so great either as was expecting a call back and a proper apology and haven't heard anything and some how he isn't there when I call.Its meant to be a platinum gym or even a premium gym but I feel some of the staff members are people you would find on some street corner in other parts of London.I would say to avoid this gym and use pure gym or something as this fitness first always tries this 10 a month deal and you get all sorts of people in gym and you have to wait to use a machine you Wana use.As I think this gym is missing the point of being a platinum premium gym.Oh and because the some of the staff and manager I won't be keeping my membership for the 3rd year.

Every time I visit something is wrong, no towels/ pool not working/ no hot water/ men and women changing rooms swapped and men kept coming into the women?s changing room and seeing them naked. Told this morning pool will be closed for 4 days, no refunds offered, manager never available and doesn?t call back. Can never book onto a yoga class. The pool really smells too.

Terrible gym - where 95% of the time something is broken and/or not working. Some of the staff think this is funny and use the mic to take the piss, specifically when the pool area was closed because of health and safety issues. My friend got athletes' foot in this pool area and it's VERY evident it never gets cleaned. The pool is slimey!! The sauna and steam / sun beds have not been cleaned for a long time. they recently switched the changing rooms (temporarily) without giving members notice which led to men walking in on women naked and vice versa which is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I could go on and on and on... I will be leaving when i can get out of the contract I'm in. The so called manager Yannik never called me back to discuss these issues and even the reginal operations manager Keith Shaw is useless, has no solutions and clearly does not understand what leadership and accountability look like!
