DO NOT STAY HERE. Owners physically attacked guests (a group of 17 and 18 year old girls) during my stay. I had to intervene to stop the attack and protect the girls until the police arrived.The girls believed the attack may have been racially motivated (they were black).I feared for my life before intervening as I heard one of the girls shout "oh my god she's getting a weapon". I didn't know If I was going to face a knife, but "fortunately" it was just a metal tube from a vacuum cleaner.The attack stopped as soon as I appeared, but I had to position myself between the owners and the girls to ensure their safety until the police arrived. They showed me footage of the attack, as they'd tried to hide in the bathroom from the owner's wife, who had hit one of them and pulled another's hair.There had been a dispute over whether or not they had paid (which it seemed was just a misunderstanding), but the owners were extremely aggressive while the girls (from what I heard before the attack), had been trying to sort it out.The girls didn't press charges but as the police were leaving (after making sure the girls had somewhere else to go) I heard one of them tell the owner that he was extremely lucky that his wife wasn't in handcuffs in the back of a police car).I was left deeply shaken. It was too late to go to another hotel, so I stayed the night (enduring my door was locked and placing the bedside cabinet against the door). In the morning (having had very little sleep, the night before my cousin's wedding), I asked the owner for a refund for the last night of my stay.Initially, he just stared at me like a psychopath and said no. He showed no human emotion and didn't understand that there was anything wrong or why I would want to leave.His response, when I said I'd had to intervene to save the lives of other guests, was to say, "this sort of thing happens". He showed no remorse, and I believe that had I been smaller than him he would have tried to intimidate me like they did to those poor young girls.Although I did, eventually, get a refund for the final unused night of my stay, I was left deeply shaken. I was exhausted during my cousin's wedding and I had the hassle, stress and expense of finding another hotel at the last minute.

Cannot use the garden, cannot use the common area, cannot use the kitchen. Everything is restricted except for your room. You will not be able to use the laundry machine unless you stay for long term.Beautiful place, but only expect the room.Also you will be charged for an extra person.

Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Although have in mind that you need approximately 2 hours and a half to get to Luton airport on an early commute, or at least one hour to the main city so plan your days accordingly.The place itself - no remarks. Clean, spacious enough, great hosts, quiet, newly built (the place where you stay is an additional guest house in the back garden of the main owner's house).

Kato London Haus STINKY & EXPENSIVE HOSTEL, NOT HOTEL, STAY FAR AWAY. Katolondonhaus "HOSTEL" Stinks Nothing at all basically. It was a shock. It is so very overpriced. It is a hostel, not a hotel or even a guest house. One of the worst places I ever stayed in. FILTHY & STINKY Room, Rude staff, Poorly Managed Hostel, access to drinking water is shut at 9 pm, No Basic Amenities. The bathroom is a Joke, The 2 sitting Chairs in the Room are Child Sized. The bathroom is 3 feet wide. "Health and Hygiene Inspection is imminent" and the owners who are staff as well need to learn Mannerisms before taking any professional training. The amount is money being Charged for a Room is 4 Times more than its Worth. The Room Price should not be more than £25. Never Ever Again, Please Stay Away. I had a sleepless warm night without even a fan or drinking water, even requested a number of times. Absolute Torturous Experience, for which I paid through my Nose. I am filing a Full Refund to the Booking Platform and Hotel, leaving aside any Compensation.Show less

Shocking experience, felt like I was starring in a low budget horror film. Myself and a few other guests were met with petrifying screaming of the lady who owned the hotel at 9pm. We presumed it was an attempted murder but instead we were told by both owners to keep the noise down. Lost for words.

We slept here for 4 nights in December 22. Good location, clean room and very nice and friendly host.Bus around the corner only 8 minutes from tube station Morden.

Seemed friendly to a certain point but when the toilet system failed because of non-flushable kitchen towel that I had mistakenly put down the toilet l was asked for a fee which l kindly paid l apologize many times but it didn't stop Mitsuo and his manipulative wife Kutsa blacklisting me from staying there ever again.. l found this very two faced as they had been very kind and friendly to me.People are not what they seem especially when money is involved ?I

We had a great stay at this well located and very lovely establishment. The owner, Mr. Kato, and his family were super helpful. The room was clean, had what was needed to enjoy our stay and the back garden is a beautiful place to relax after a hard days work. Looking forward to our next stay, thank you!
