yesterday I placed a click and collect order for two outdoor lights from my local branch of Wickes - SuttonWhen I got them home, I opened them, and discovered that one of them had the screws that hold the lamp top on missing.Unfortunately, Sutton had no further stock, so decided to visit the Merton branch, where they had many in stockI met a surly member of staff - Yasmin, who informed me that I would have to take the lamp back to Sutton, as it's there stock. I said they didn't have any in stock, she said yes they did. And proceeded to check (they did not). She said the only way round it, was to purchase the lamp in Merton, and return my original purchase back to Sutton. I said that is madness, Yasmin indicated it was Sutton's problem, and she didn't want to show "she would be short of stock"I could easily have walked into store and opened a box, and removed the missing screws, but decided to be honest.This is a case of very poor customer service, and Yasmin's attitude lacks any sort of care for customers. In this day and age with consumers shopping online, you'd think better customer service wouldn't go amiss. Whatever happened to good customer service?Only reason I gave one star, was because they had the lamp I wanted

Worst customer service ever. On line chats closed whenever Wickes operative wanted. Do not help at all. When you provide all information they transfer to somebody else and terminate chats. There is no even place to complain. No more Wickes.

Terrible staff, tried to return an online order but manager kept telling me they couldn't be returned in store. Went outside called the head office and they told me to go back in the store as he had given me misinformation. After getting my refund I asked politely why he didn't want to return my items to which he gave no answer just attitude, he then began to walk away muttering under his breath and kicking the shelf, after receiving my paper work I began to leave the store with dissatisfaction in regards to how I was dealt with I said I would be complaining as I walked to the exit. Out of no where I heard fxxk off being shouted at me. I walked back into the store and said excuse me, I asked for him to repeat himself to which he wouldn't. He was quiet and not speaking at this point. All of a sudden once more of the staff members came over he began to become irate. It was as I'd he was showing off or he had grown a pair of nuts when his friends came over. This is now when the situation got more heated and I started to ask for his name to complain. He refused this and began getting more angry as more of his friends arrived, feeling threatened I raised my voice a little to be heard, at this point the other staff are forcing him away to the back of the store. Now this person is really acting up, now he is being held back he is trying to act as if he is trying to get me shouting and swearing across the store. At this point another guy claiming to also be a manager arrives I explained what had happened and how I wanted to complain! This manager and 2 other staff kept refusing to provide me with the details of the employee wo I could make a complaint!I wasn't going to make a complaint but after thinking about it I believe I should. I am in an unfortunate situation where I am currently unemployed but yet you have people like this who are in manager positions. Its unbelievable.I bought 2 products from wickes, each of them didn't meet their description in their advert and to return them I had to travel across London. There is no accountability anymore. Wickes misleading me with the product, as it wasn't fit for the purpose it was made for then they tried to refuse me a refund breaching their own policy.The customer service from 3 of the 6 staff present was absolutely disgusting and the staff clearly don't care for the customers. Out of the 6 people there the other 3 were responsible and polite, unfortunately as they refused to provide names of anyone I can't relay their names but I can 100% describe in detail the person responsible for the threatening and abusive behaviour

Very good lady always greets me going in , I feel the warmth . Plus I get the feel like those small DIY shops of old as she always helps ,like today she got her colleague to get a 4" filler knife for me from the stock room Five Stars.
