When a friend suggested joining her at Evelyn’s Table, I wasn’t sure as it seems expensive. But I am so happy I decided to go. The food was amazing, service mostly good. Truly unique flavours, incredible attention to detail.
Accessed via a discreet doorway on Rupert Court, Evelyn’s Table at The Blue Posts is an intimate kitchen bar in the former beer cellar of the pub, serving British ingredients utilising, Scandinavian and Japanese techniques all underpinned by classic French training.
The space is warm and informal, with plates being passed straight from the range to the guest across the marble counter which seats just twelve.
