Wasted my time trying to get a phone from here. They?re supposed to sell new phones that haven?t been opened out of their boxes, but the one I bought had been. 2 stars for the 2 days of mine Argos has wasted.

First time was 5 star Polite and efficient.2nd time they were incapable of properly process my eBay "click and collect" parcel, when it was delivered there,So I wasn't sent a necessary pich up code to collect the items by eBay.....

AFSANA, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!I was served by this really sweet young lady, Afsana!! She was very kind and patient and honestly had the best sense of humour whilst I was being very indecisive on the colour of the laptop I was buying! She seemed very well informed with the products and made it much easier for me to decide what I wanted! The service she provided I hope to see EVERYWHERE I GO FR!!! Friendly and approachable and very very charismatic!! Argos have a great staff on their hands and I wish her all the success in whatever she does!! Love the laptop btw!! I bought a Chromebook laptop in Argos shop and when I got home it wasn?t what I expected. The software seem to be like a phone and not useful at all.Next day with less than 24h, I tried to return it and they told me I couldn?t because the tape was open and the laptop ?used?.I spoke then with the manager on Duty (Jonathan) and he told me to resell it on eBay or call costumer services.I asked him if he could help me with the phone call as my English is very bad and he refused.The day after I call costumer service and they send me to the shop again as I was on my right to return it.Very awful service, very disrespectful, he didn?t even look in my eyes while chatting. He also laughed at my partner who came to help me out. And next to us was a woman returning an inflated bed, used, and box open which they accepted?. No sense.

The staff at this branch NEVER CONFIRM PARCELS DELIVERED. So the customer can receive a collection code, this has happened several times now, it can clearly be seen which team member signed for the parcel on the tracking, so why does the manager not address this issue. People send parcels for collection from your branch as a convenience, not to be inconvenienced and to be delayed, then go into branch and argue with the staff to find the parcel, because of your incompetence.

Argos is great and all, can get a good deal but what made the shop so good was Mo's help, kindness and calm. He is an outstanding sales assistant and went above and beyond, also knew the store stock so well. Thanks Mo.

I needed a new charging cable for my Garmin Venu 2 smart watch. Curry's, John Lewis and Selfridges told me that I would need to go online if I wanted to buy a new charger without also buying a new watch. Argos proved them wrong and sold me a new charger by itself for £25.99. Result! Thank you Argos.
