I am extremely disappointed in the behavior of the security guard who was there last evening and the employee who answered my call today.I think it would be better if the opening hours were posted on the doors of your building. The security guard yesterday was extremely rude, he refused to just tell me that the cafe was open until 5pm, he told me to come back tomorrow but didn't tell me what time it would be open until.I wasn't sure if I could find this place on Google, since I found it, I called and tried to leave a complaint about this security guard, but the employee rudely interrupted me after he heard that I am from Ukraine.

We'd been on a walking tour of blitz sights, the walk finished beside St Paul's and the guide recommended various places for lunch, including here, the Salvation Army café. Several of us went there and it was excellent - clean, lots of space, tables available, a good choice of food and very reasonable prices. My wife drinks decaf coffee and said that it was excellent here, far better than Prêt. Highly recommended.

We have returned to London on a couple of occasions just to continue exploring the infinite number of historic sites. On each visit we make sure we plan our day so that we are only a short tube trip from the Salvation Army HQ. The Cafe 101 sits in the basement but still has some natural light feeding through. It is clean and very spacious with a very relaxed atmosphere. And it is cheap, for London. The staff obviously have been trained in the Salvation Army ethos as they genuinely seem happy to be there and to serve you. There are downsides of course. As it is in the office block you must go through a bag search. The menu is very limited, more or less a cafeteria in the old style. But we always found good food to eat. If you have a business lunch and want to impress then this is not the place. But for a tourist walking around London, tired and needing a break from the busyness around you then this is a great spot to get away from it all for lunch.

Wonderful cafe. Short menu but quality food at amazing prices for central London. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. But, I'm biased, I married a Salvation Army lass.

Beautiful space in the basement and given its location, prices are most reasonable. Extremely careful with covid safety rules and a comfy place. Pleasant coffee and cake. Highly recommended!

We stumbled on this by accident after crossing the Millenium bridge. The soup, sandwiches, coffee and cake were all very, very, good. The staff actually looked pleased to see us! The prices were a revelation having been ripped off for much of our stay in London. A big thank you Salvation Army for a warm and enjoyable experience.

The International Headquarters of the Salvation Army is located in London at 101 Queen Victoria Street, EC4V 4EH.This is a modern building on a site which has been used by the Salvation Army for its headquarters since 1881.

I was walking down the street, trying to find a place to have a rest, after coming from Gatwick Airport. I found this little but cute location, café 101. The security agent was very kind and also the people at the service. I didn't expected a cheap price in centre of London and free wifi for 2 hours.
