Arranged to meet friends for pre dinner drinks @5.30 ,no booking was made, however on arrival we were told we could stand at the bar ,after standing at the bar for 15 minutes ,and being totally ignored, not even being acknowledged we decided to leave ,We decided to try café royal, what a contrast, as a first time customer we were welcomed like long lost family ,cocktails were excellent ,So a big thanks to the staff @ Cafe royal, well done ?, As for the barstaff at Claridges you guys seriously need to up your game.Danny lowe

Perfection! That is the sum of the experience. That level of excellence is an art and it was a joy to experience.

We visit this Hotel since the 60?s, i wasn?t even born yet. But my family and family buss. asociates introduced us here.Among others especialy Mr, John Angus ( Bud) Mc Dougald of Argus Corp. had his own Suite in this Hotel in the 60?s.He was one of Canada?s most influential buss. men of all times, with ties to the British Royal Family and our late Queen Elizabeth even stayed at Green Meadows or at ?the Castle?Teddington Park 174a. The fact that he was a regular guest in this establiscent, combined with my own experiance, i can say without honor that; this is without a doubt the best Hotel in the world!Thank you for having me at all times, providing us with more that epic services! Everything that can be out in words is about your Hotel is a mere understatement.

Raw chicken and overcooked pork! ? We were celebrating with the family a few weeks ago and two of us ordered the sharing chicken - looked great but it was so raw inside! The rest of us got the pork but it was so overcooked and chewy! It's a shame because the building is lovely but it's not really good enough from the chefs.. the head waiter was very apologetic and didnt charge us for the chicken, but I just don't think it should've got to that stage ?

Well, we were about to drop $2k on a suite at this hotel only to discover that you have to book everything in advance. Book your breakfast time. Book your lunch time. Book your evening meal. But, get this.... you even have to book to get a drink at their bar!?! Only to then discover they are entirely 'booked up' two weeks a head. So, that means you can make a room reservation only to discover as a paying guest (at this 5* hotel) that normal amenities won't be available to you. Seriously, who is required to book a drink at the bar two weeks ahead of time? Hello... it's almost 2024, we're not in Covid-19 pandemic times any more. The hotel even has lots of rooms available for the date required, so it's not like they're fully booked. Clearly they are taking far too many bookings from non-guests and folk off the streets. Is that greed at the detriment of hotel guests? Probably. Sorry, we can't stay here. There are far too many other 5* London hotels that let you visit their bar whenever you like to purchase a $25 drink, and go down to breakfast when you want. You don't need to 'book' ahead. Who on earth wants all these kinds of unnecessary restrictions in this day and age? I have no idea in two weeks time when I might want a glass of wine at the bar or what time I may wake up and want breakfast!Shame!

I can't even praise everyone enough for being so kind, generous, considerate and overall amazing! My mother-in-law, Luch, wanted a special day with her favourite girls at a special place so we went to the Claridge's or March 6, 2023 for afternoon tea.Luch was on oxygen and wheelchair and they have made everything very comfortable for her, asking her frequently if she needed anything; they even took the spare oxygen tank in our car when hers ran out.We booked the Reading Room so we can have our own space as Luch cannot be too exposed andLeo was our personal waiter who did an amazing job and was very entertaining and professional. The food was undoubtedly scrumptious and the pastries and the wide array of tea were outstanding! We loved every bite and every drop!At the end of the tea party, they handed Luch a care package and that just melted everyone's hearts witnessing how thoughtful they were.Luch verbally said to them, "Thank you for making this extra special, this is my goodbye to my girls."My mother-in-law passed peacefully a week after, wearing her favourite cashmere socks which was gifted by the Claridges team. This was her last time out and you didn't just deliver but surpassed every expectation we ever could imagine, you went far and beyond. We can't thank you enough, Claridge's Team.

We begin with scallop in its shell with a little apple, a little horseradish, and ? lest we?re feeling chilly ? a cup of hot scallop broth. Classically paired with von Kesselstatt Riesling Spätlese, it?s both delicious and pretty. A speck or two of salt is visible: any more would be too much. Humm works at that level of precision. There follows chawanmushi, whose ingredients ? king crab, black truffle, daikon, silky custard ? would work any which way.

One of the finest properties I have ever stayed in, right in the middle of London where in a minute you can be at the busiest places and the moment you step in to your room it?s all nice and quiet that you don?t want to peek outside the window to see the urbanized world of buildings only.Bar is always busy but busy because of the beauty of it. From the moment you step through its doors, you're greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. Duty manager Amin and his team were super helpful and left no stone unturned to make our stay unforgettable.

It was a shared birthday lunch. It was nice, nothing was wrong. Tick. But probably never doing it again because it was lacking that special something.

Just went for the experience really, food is just your average basic British themed edibles. £90 for some sandwiches and finger pastries (cakes) and some tea is a little.....Was surprised no salmon or prawns were offered for their lunch and dinner menu.Decent selection of wines and champagnes.Lovely rooms.
